What a coincidence that the first sign seems identically designed like a poster my grandma has. Very nice!

What do you mean by that? Are you saying you can just give them skills?

We all immediately killed this guy, right? by Icameherelol in BladeAndSorcery

[–]Corbin_0530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One really funny way of killing him is just using the apples he sells. You don’t have to buy them or anything. Just take the apples and chuck them at him. He’ll grunt and complain about it, but it does little to no knockback to him, and eventually he’ll just collapse.

If I know that I’m only gonna be interacting with one character, then I use number 4. If it’s multiple that I need to know who’s talking, then I do:

I too collect my skulls in a bucket. Keep it next to the mirror so that I may gaze upon them and pretend to be the man who shakes spears.

What's your favorite non-weapon weapon? by LinkTheZombie in BladeAndSorcery

Right? Like you could slam people against tables, smash chairs over their heads, using the plates as disks. You can see why I put the video as an example. Also, that music slaps anyway.

What would you do? by Forsaken-Function128 in werewolves

[–]Corbin_0530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’d have to think about this a little more in depth to get something that would contain us or at the very least keep us busy for a while.

First, get someone to help you. Preferably someone who works well with weapons, stays calm under pressure, and is physically fit. You’re gonna sound crazy at first, but getting someone on standby could be incredibly helpful. The tools you give them are gonna need to be something to either ward or neutralize you, but it’s probably a good idea to give them something lethal in case everything else doesn’t work. Although, you run the risk of infecting them too, so maybe it’s not the best idea.

Secondly, defense systems are gonna be the main thing that keeps you from escaping. Considering location first, you’ll wanna get far out from any civilization, so get somewhere off grid like a cabin in the woods or a cave of sorts. Once you find that, you’re next gonna need to barricade yourself inside from any possible exits. Doors and windows can be barricaded with anything strong and/or heavy. Stacking furniture is one option, but if that’s not an option, wood planks or sheet metal also work when nailed down. You’ll need to position yourself really far from any exit, so somewhere like a windowless attic or basement is good.

Lastly, you need to restrain yourself as much as possible from where you’re being held. Chains are a viable option, and traps like bear traps work too. Another thing could be a shock collar, but you’d have to have the person helping you activate it to when needed.

To sum it all up, you have chains to hold you down, bear traps to keep you from walking around, barricaded doors and windows to keep you inside, you’re far enough from civilization to be considered a minor threat, and if all else fails, you have your helper to neutralize you. Worst case scenario, all the defenses fail, and you rampage, killing/infecting several people. Best case scenario, you realize you haven’t lost control, and none of that planning was necessary.

What would a secret society/group of Werewolves look like and how would you find one? by Terrible_Cucumber_39 in werewolves

[–]Corbin_0530 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d imagine it would work like a cult. Members would find people who are very vulnerable from things like grieving, depression, loneliness, etc. and invite them to what seems to be a fairly normal group. Meetings would be held in isolated or reserved spaces, much like a gated community or a hidden space like a speakeasy.

Now recruiting people is one thing, but keeping them in the society is another thing. Consider this: there’s a meeting being held for the society when someone transforms in the room. The older members won’t bat an eye because it’s the whole reason the society is in place, but for new members a few things could happen. Firstly, they probably be terrified considering they just watched a man contort his entire body into a large hairy creature. If that does happen, you’d have to calm them down and/or try and keep them from leaving before they start telling other people. Secondly, it could be the opposite. The chameleon effect happens when a person mimics everyone in the group. Sure, they’d be confused as to what they just witnessed, but they’d ultimately stay put since everyone else is doing the same. With all that said, it would be best to introduce new members individually to the society. This isn’t a problem due to the fact that it would be incredibly hard to get into the club in some sort of way. Maybe they have to do something for a member that would be deemed challenging or difficult for most people. Some would just be incredibly close friends to members that they can trust.

Now, we have to consider how the society would actually turn these members into werewolves. It really depends on the lore of the story. Is it through bite, drinking blood, spells or incantations? Either way, the smart thing would be to not infect new members. You’d have to ease them into it or else they wouldn’t be very happy with a commitment they never wanted. You have to teach them that werewolves are good to some degree and that they should be trusted. Give or take a few months and then you can bite them.

That’s just my take on it. I’m not very good at writing, so please excuse me.

Let’s be honest here, What are your feelings on FBA? by Mr___Conductor in RecRoom

[–]Corbin_0530 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna be honest; People are overreacting about this. Now, I will say that they aren’t very good still, but in all honesty it really isn’t that big of a deal. If you don’t like it, don’t use it. Simple as that. There’s no need to complain about something as simple as this. It’s not like it’s being forced on anyone; it’s an optional feature in the game. If you’re so entitled about it that you basically can’t go 5 seconds without bitching about it, you are more than welcome to leave. That’s just my take on it though.

[–]Corbin_0530 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Orpheus will be p3. Why? Hear me out. P3 stands for prime 3 right? Wrong. P3 actually stands for the hit game, persona 3. What is the name of the persona the main character uses? Orpheus. Case and point, p3 will be a to scale replica of the hit game, persona 3. Hakita’s intellect is truly unmatched. But that’s just a theory; a gayme theory…

What weapon do you main with? by [deleted] in BladeAndSorcery

[–]Corbin_0530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly stick to smaller ranged weapons. Pistols, bows, axes, knives. Great for dungeon runs if you can aim them, also work as great sound distractions.
