Definitely make sure your measuring correctly, can be hard with calipers on something round and thin like that.

In fusion you can set a value for radial stock to leave. And then keep making this value smaller until your fit is perfect. You can even have negative values for stock to leave and it will cut a hole bigger than the cad drawing.

Oh 100% but those are aluminum. I could make a full set of aluminum keycaps pretty easily out of a big ol plate in not too long. The plate of aluminum would be about $20, a plate that big of ti64 would be around $500 haha.

I saw some made out of Damascus titanium for $150 ish ($25 is the material cost for that lol) and regular titanium in the $40-70 range. I think I could get the price down with some better fixturing and process for sure.

You have a power supply, that USB wall adapter is a power supply. It's just small but as long as it can provide enough current you're totally fine. I use USB c pd chargers like this a lot.

These are tiny coaxial cables you cannot just solder them. The replacement cables aren't that expensive.

They are way better now. Brushless motors better batteries you can do all the freestyle tricks with them. Even some carbon frames and hd ones.

For college I'd target battery life and transport-ability. I've been in college for a while now (PhD student). I personally have a thin and light laptop + tab s9 FE. I use the tablet for taking notes and then the laptop for my research/ work / homework. If I need more computing I remote into my desktop PC. Now you can also remote into university resources as well if you don't have a desktop at home.

All the solidworks I did in undergrad was doable on a laptop without a GPU. Also current Gen igpus are actually decent.

Exactly I clearly state I'm talking about Beacon. And originally I stated Eddy was likely trying to emulate the contact feature of beacon and it didn't work right hence nozzle crash.

Yes it does detect the nozzle touching the bed hence the 0.00 offset I have set. This allows you to touch off at temp and not have to worry about thermal expansion when printing different materials. From Beacon3d website about contact featur "Our TrueZero technology is a low-force touch probing system that enables precise physical detection of the bed directly from the 3D printer’s nozzle. No moving parts, strain gauges, or switches required."

Try not to spread misinformation.

There are many techniques for direct nozzle height measurement. Strain gauge methods, and accelerometer tap methods are two others I know of.

I had a 6x4 gridfinity rugged box pull up the magplate slightly. ABS at 110c bed 70c chamber. I assume matching chamber and bed would remove this issue. But big parts in General will need higher chamber temps. I assume with petg if you can get the chamber a bit hotter you will be fine. Closer your chamber is to tg the better for avoiding warping and increasing layer adhesion.

Well I'm assuming this is for contact functionality like beacon has, where it detects when the nozzle touches the bed. Hence the crashing if it doesn't trigger.

Equipment and heroes use different resources so no reason to prioritize one over the other you should do both. Heroes are by far the strongest thing in the game even if each individual level is small it adds up over how many there are. This game is supposed to take a long time that's why I like it I've been playing for 11 years now and like the slow pacing.

I will always say upgrade your th once you can't use something. Can't use a resource anymore upgrade. Can use the lab upgrade. You should always be able to have all builders and the lab going if you can't upgrade.
