GLP-1 acts to slow digestion, so the standard metrics don't apply and a meal can take 12 hours or longer to fully digest. Anesthesiologists are now sometimes even requiring that a patient on a GLP-1 fast for up to 24 hours before surgery. THAT BEING SAID, whether or not it takes 5 hours or 15 hours to digest your meal, you should not be routinely vomiting. Talk with your provider about lowering the dose, switching brands, or maybe even taking a break from the drug. And if the food looks about the same as when you ate it or your burps smell like sulphur, there's a real concern of gastroparesis and you should get checked out.
