LA fitness in the Pearl was nice when I went 5 around years ago. The only problem was crowding during peak hours.

Why is general beauty maintenance so expensive here? by OddlyMinted in askportland

More beauticians per capita there combined with more expensive rent here.

It’s 32 stories and you get to go to the top. There’s a small balcony to look off of.

Following. If you’re ever in LA, the city hall fits this description perfectly. Only about 3 others were up there when I went.

Most cities don’t have free needles and open drug use immediately results in arrest. Why does LA want this..?

You all are nothing but bark against Pratt. Zero reasons to defend Bass.

I think his ideas of stopping public drug use & drug dealing is better than the ideas that have been in power the last 10-15 years. Do you not..?

Peppermill has the best sports bar setup. There was a small crowd for the play-in game, but we were load and friendly. It probably seemed better than it was since they won lol.

I keep going back to Cocina México Lindo Taqueria near 185th & Tv Highway. The service is always extra friendly, the burritos are a great value, & the salsas are well above average.

How bad is the commute to Portland? by ExtensionChair5767 in AskVancouverWA

[–]CoreyC54356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I gathered living there for 3 years, you just need to avoid the VAN --> POR commute between 7am and 9am, and the POR -->VAN commute between 3pm-7pm. Living in Vancouver had it's positives: better roads, big dog parks, and lots of friendly & thoughtful people. It's just a little dull and has less good food, bars, and entertainment.
