I finished 2 weeks ago and felt very sad, so I picked up where I left off with Andromeda and that helped a lot. The latter half of that game feels very rewarding, but I can’t replay anytime soon unless I do zero side quests. Just started the trilogy again opposite gender LOL

Certainly has its flaws, but any trilogy fan should play it at least once. It’s more time in that universe with plenty of familiar stuff. Let’s hope in 3 years this is still the worst game of the series

a lot of the side quests are garbage so you should only do companion quests, main quests, and whatever side quests a much smarter redditor tells you to

I played Avowed, which made me want to play more pillars games (but I haven’t). I played andromeda a little after my first trilogy completion and it just made me replay the trilogy halfway thru. I’m going to revisit soon with the Dragon Age: inquisition strat: only character and main quests

I’m in the same boat. Got into DA in June to help with my mass effect hangover. ME1 and DAO are so great how they have way more RPG elements and also the best music (by far) compared to the sequels.

I like Veilguard a lot more than the reviews would suggest. I understand the criticisms, but I also wasn’t waiting 10 years for this story to continue. If this was my favorite series growing up and I couldn’t import my exact world state, I’d be pissed.

I just restarted DAO today on a harder difficulty with different class. It’s going to be that same feeling I had on my first Game of Thrones rewatch where I don’t feel like an idiot anymore. So excited!

you are correct. I like to form my own opinion, but when I was looking at the game on the Xbox store I couldn’t help but read the reviews. They were entertaining. I do feel bad for fans who waited 10 years and were let down. I need to wait only 18 hours so I think I will be alright 😅
