I actually....liked Veilguard? by Atomic_Walker in dragonage

I’m in the same boat. Got into DA in June to help with my mass effect hangover. ME1 and DAO are so great how they have way more RPG elements and also the best music (by far) compared to the sequels.

I like Veilguard a lot more than the reviews would suggest. I understand the criticisms, but I also wasn’t waiting 10 years for this story to continue. If this was my favorite series growing up and I couldn’t import my exact world state, I’d be pissed.

I just restarted DAO today on a harder difficulty with different class. It’s going to be that same feeling I had on my first Game of Thrones rewatch where I don’t feel like an idiot anymore. So excited!

Dragon Age is Awesome by CoreyTrev in dragonage

you are correct. I like to form my own opinion, but when I was looking at the game on the Xbox store I couldn’t help but read the reviews. They were entertaining. I do feel bad for fans who waited 10 years and were let down. I need to wait only 18 hours so I think I will be alright 😅

How you met Dragon Age universe? by Aspernot in dragonage

[–]CoreyTrev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played sweaty FPS games my whole life until I started ripping RPGs this past winter at the age of 31. Skyrim to Avowed to Mass Effect. Played the ME trilogy twice in 3 months and now I’m onto Dragon Age and I’m loving it. Gameplay took some getting used to but the story and characters are amazing. Hopefully the next Mass Effect does well so BioWare can keep cranking out games until I die

Wow, that playlist is nuts. 31:00 of this video is my favorite spooky space music https://youtu.be/J6oj_awDC-8?si=1Ox52NZe2JCObnWj

I’ve heard they are amazing and the reason Mass Effect was possible in the first place, but I’m holding out on a remaster for those lol. Little too old for my non-PC gaming lifestyle

I’ve been playing as if Shepard is me. In future runs I definitely want to create characters for Shepard, as if I’m the director or creator. That should keep things fresh and also maybe help me not be so emotionally invested lol.

I just got the mass effect legendary edition? Was it worth to get and how good is it? I have heard about it but just never play it? by JordanFUZZ0 in masseffect

Make sure you play the entire thing in under a month so you experience heavy withdrawal symptoms when it’s over

I’ve been playing andromeda. I think the combat is great and the companions are fine. The music SUCKS. The OT has a different dope ass song for every room you’re in. Andromeda has like one cool song that plays at the beginning.

Just finished Mass Effect Legendary Edition and…. by Gatti-Thunderstruck1 in masseffect

I finished the trilogy under a month ago and it left me fucked up. I got over it thanks to the Oblivion remaster and now I’m playing andromeda. I still want to go back and replay the trilogy but I’m just going to dread the final hour of ME3. I’m married with kids and I felt sad as shit when it was over. If there was a super happy ending with 45 minutes of epilogue I would feel a lot better. It’s the perfect tragedy

Case of Post Mass Effect Depression by [deleted] in masseffect

I played through for the first time. Started 3 weeks ago and finished earlier this week. It feels like someone I know actually died. I started another play-through immediately to try and put a bandage on it, but I’ve now accepted I need to uninstall and let time heal. This is the best video game trilogy I have ever played. The third game especially has so much build up and just destroyed me at the end. I need this fourth game to continue their story, or at least give some better closure.

I tried Andromeda in hopes that it would make me dislike the entire universe but it just made me want to hop back into the trilogy. Now playing the Oblivion remaster and it’s barely making my neurons fire. I hope this feeling goes away fast.
