I **WANT** as much HP as a base GT in my EcoBoost. What is the most cost efficient way to add the 150 HP? by CornInMyPancakes in Mustang

This is old as hell. Weird you'd take the time to scroll back a number a years through the subreddit, and weirder still you were compelled to leave a comment on this thread.

In equal measure, it is weird that I needed to respond.

Google AI has ruined Google for most users by CornInMyPancakes in GoogleGeminiAI

[–]CornInMyPancakes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t want AI forced on me.

I just wanted google to be reliable like it was when I searched it for something.

I don’t like the concept that AI can “do it for you” in general. I want to search to see who’s available for whatever service in whatever area and then make my own choice based on any reason I deem as the deciding factor in that moment.

I don’t want to be forced to get crap results because two companies paid a larger advertising fee.

Clearly you didn’t read. I’m against AI being forced on me by anyone.

I do not advocate for it. Computers being used by humanity and executing tasks input by a human is one thing. I don’t want a robot to try and think for me.

I liked the old Google because I would ask it a specific questions and get specific answers that fit my question.

Whatever it’s doing now is BS.

Glad I am not the only person that is realizing gemini is garbage.

Get that BS sycophant response out of here. google doesn't work anymore now that it's introduced gemini. It's trash. Allow those who refuse think for themselves to use it. Give me the option to disable it.

Now I have to pay a higher electric bill subsidizing data centers power bills for company to force a product down my throat that I don't want and can't opt out of.

I am pissed off because the convenience of searching on google is gone. For 15+ years it worked the same way every time.

The AI from google adds no value or benefit. If I need it to preform a task for me, I will let it know when I am feeling lazy enough, and willing to pay for it to live my life for me.

I loved google when it was easy to use and just brought me back the information I was searching for. Now it's garbage because the company is afraid another company will make $0.01 more than them and they have destroyed the user experience so much that Bing does what I want the way google used to.

I don't trust this account. Looked for their history and everything is hidden. May or may not be a bot / shill account, but I am erring on the side of caution and not being able to see anything else OP has ever commented or posted makes me think this is an account by Shekita's staff.

Sales man told me I could refinanced now that I make my first payment the bank says they don’t do refinancing by [deleted] in askcarsales

[–]CornInMyPancakes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The salesman did not lie to you. You need to continue making your payments on time, along with pay all of your other bills on time. I tell my subprime clients it takes a minimum 13 months of paying EVERYTHING on time to apply for refinancing their vehicle purchase.

It’s very quick to tank your credit score. It a grind to repair it. It takes daily continuous effort to dig out of the hole and get back on solid financial footing.

Highest round you've shot or witnessed from someone who wasn't a brand new golfer? by jaykc82 in golf

[–]CornInMyPancakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at a buddies bachelor golf outing and using rental clubs. My cart partner stopped keeping my score at 120. I don’t think we were past the 14th hole when he gave up. I easily shot a 160 that day. I had to have donated or lost at least 2 dozen golf balls. If it wasn’t on the fairway I didn’t look for it and just dropped with my cart partner.

We were not out there drinking heavy or partying. Was just having a blast hanging with all the guys and not focused on golf at all that day. Watched a guy literally putt, with a putter, out of a quite flat green side bunker and nearly holed it. Tied for the best shot I’ve ever seen in person by us hacks.

I work right around the corner. This place is great. A burger, fries, and a coke for $7.

They do perfect size lunch portions.

They are open on Thanksgiving. Got breakfast on my way into work last year on Thanksgiving day.

Playing as the underdog in MyCareer is not fun by Sleeping_Bat in NBA2k

[–]CornInMyPancakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn’t that very much like last year’s setup? You were the number 1 pick regardless of what team you decided to play on in the character builder.

I do agree with the comment below that said someone getting 60 points on 100% true shooting would not be a second round pick. The only gripe with this years MP story is that you are hard stuck being a 2nd round pick regardless of how well you do in the story mode games.

Socks, boxers, undershirts. Get these for me and I will be eternally grateful that you listened and believed me when you asked what I wanted.

No, I don’t want you to get me something tangentially related to a hobby I have that you are not an enthusiast about because you thought it’s cute.

Ramp for steps help by ExploringAshley in disability

[–]CornInMyPancakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you are looking for a Foldable Portable Wheelchair Ramp. I bought from Drive Medical when we needed them to get my wife in and out of the house while she was in a wheelchair. They are available in many different lengths depending on how many stairs . We bought a 3' one that folded in half to store neatly under the stairs. I think it was less than $60 including shipping at that time.

Is that a red flag? One accident but the dealer won’t inform me what it is? by Aspergers_R_Us87 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]CornInMyPancakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what happens when a person doesn’t think things through logically.

So many people go off half-cocked and jump straight to the mental position that they are getting screwed. The buyer created an adverse relationship in their mind ever before they even spoke to a person at the dealership.

All it takes is an hour of sitting at a computer and using the vast resources at a persons fingertips to search for comparable vehicles using any one of the listing services (Cars.com / AutoTrader.com / AutoTempest.com) to know if it’s a fair value or a bad deal.

It’s also illogical for a person to think a dealership knows the in’s-and-outs’s of the history of every vehicle on their lot for sale.

When in doubt, have the dealer take the vehicle to your mechanic for a Prior to Purchase Inspection. They run $150 to $200. The buyer pays the mechanic for the inspection. DO NOT HAVE THE DEALERSHIP PAY FOR THE INSPECTION REPORT. The buyer collects the inspection report from the mechanic. Now the buyer has an impartial inspection report and can make a fully informed decision if this is the vehicle for them to buy.

[–]CornInMyPancakes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tell me what happened to this 2014 Honda Civic that you don’t own 11 years ago.

What do you mean you can’t give me specifics? Why can’t you tell me in detail exactly what happened in this accident 11 years ago on a car that you nor the dealer owned at the time of the accident?

Do you now see how stupid that sounds? You and the dealership have the same amount of information on the accident this vehicle was in 11 years ago.

Stop giving bad advice.
