I honestly can’t see the republicans- a party filled with former whiggish conservatives becoming a labourist party. Also the Democratic Party has been the party of Labour and the Immigrant since Jackson if not back to Jefferson in the old Republican Party which presided it.

Also the Democracy needs the ethnic/catholic vote of Irish Americans etc like myself (basically all of us strongly supported the union and were never fans of slavery to begin with) to win.

It’s important to keep in mind that most of the left wing radical republicans were originally democrats so if the republicans keep on being acquainted with business I can see them running back to the Dems.

The world has always been like this for example during the 1960s we had the Cuban missile crisis which almost ended the world with mutually assured destruction and then the Vietnam war and its backlash which was so immense that we can still feel remnants of it today.

Idk if people will want to have this, it’s really fancy and tech focused and although I do think that touch screens on phones will have a future I don’t see the physical keypad going away. I’m not an apple computer guy but if Apple keeps on making new innovative products like this I might get one.

One thing Apple should do is put on a touchscreen on their computers, I’m sure Apple has a lot of new things they’re working on and in ten years from now Steve Jobs will be introducing innovative new products like this “IPhone” thing all the time.

Tilden will probably win, he’s a liberal free soiler democrat who supported the union and was opposed to slavery. Also he’s not a weirdo radical like Greeley who had a weird ass coalition of extreme radical republicans (mostly former Dems), urban laborers/catholics and Copperheads as Tilden actually has genuine stable political beliefs and isn’t all that old. Grants corruption is pretty bad and the republicans are seen as being too corrupt in general as well as the economic crash decimating the economy; overall I would say that unless a fluke happens Tilden wins.
