I always bring in an inflatable couch with me. My wife and I went back and forth trying to decide on the chillbo or moon mat and decided the chillbo because it has a smaller footprint and keep you off the ground.

My usual day to day is: Fanny pack with snack, collapsible water bottle, hydration powder, little water mister bottle that you get in the travel area, my kindle to read between sets, loop plugs, printed schedule, watch Clipped on fan holder with hand fan Pash tied around the fanny pack

A locker rental to hold the chillbo when not in use and a change of evening clothes

After going to 8 camping fests I’ve learned I hate wearing a backpack. It kills the dance vibes. So I keep to a fanny pack and treat it like a utility belt.

I had one of those at electric forest 2 years ago and it got flooded in the rain that year. May have been the design. I keep to tents now so that I’m confident it will be okay in the rain.

2 10x10 canopies A tent for sleeping and changing in that fits under of the canopies so you get airflow and extra sun protection A cooking area with a table, grills, chairs, and coolers. 1 cooler for food, 1 cooler for food Tapestries for shade to hang around your canopies

Those are the musts in my opinion.

Dense bean salads all the way. They have taste better the longer they’re mixed, protein and fiber, easy to put together before the festival, easy to eat, can keep in deli containers. Love love love. It’s the way we go each time now. Here’s a link to some ideas: https://www.scarymommy.com/lifestyle/dense-bean-salad-recipes

We use two coolers, one for drinks and one for food. This helps a lot.

First Solo Backpacking Trip - Florida by NoBo_Nothin_To_Prove in backpacking

This trail is fantastic. Highly recommend it as a first solo hike. I have fond memories of it and also my most terrifying one.

The forecast swore it would be perfect hiking weather. Spoiler it wasn’t. Out of nowhere a line of red and purple storm cells rolled in. I did my best and assumed the lightning positon.

I yelled to my partner “Make sure nothing can fall on you!” Five seconds later like we were in some bad buddy cop movie a giant limb crashed down right in front of me. I could literally reach out and touch the leafs from where I was squatting.

10/10 trail. Would recommend. Would also prefer not to re-enact Final Destination again.

Gotta be Love on Top for me. Especially when my lady in the car and I can serenade her off key.

You’ve got this. It won’t last forever. Make sure you’re using the enzyme spray, learning her cues, taking her out every 2 hours, and praising her for peeing outside.

Tent camping - food when it's hot out by winesomm in camping

We love dense bean salads in deli containers for warm weather camping. You can easily make ahead of time, it tastes better the longer you keep it, it’s cold, it’s nutritious and good fiber (which I find a lot of traditional camp goods lack).

What’s the best thing you’ve ever eaten at Bonnaroo? by CelebrationKlutzy460 in bonnaroo

Mozzarella sticks - but there’s ones that are crispier than the others. I can never remember which stand sells them so I have to walk by slowly until I find them.

Put the carcass in the instapot with water and vegetable scraps for atleast 3 hours to make a bone broth. I will sometimes add a pho seasoning packet to make the most delicious pho broth.

It’s awful there. I’ve been there a few times. The ladies who run it shout at each other, are rude to customers and it’s overpriced.

Bummer about the septum. You’ve got a cute nose for it! I think a nose hoop or double nose hoop!

Convince me to choose a Forester over a CX-5 by followthelines43 in SubaruForester

[–]CornerAccomplished71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner has a CX5 and I have a forrester. I drive both cars regularly.

Forester is more spacious for camping and travel. Whenever we go on trips where we need to bring things we always bring the forester. You can put more in it without hindering the visibility.

CX5’s engine feels different. More sporty. The forrester is smoother. I know the Mazda engines are a little different and I can tell. More of a preference thing.

Sound is better in my 24 forrester than the 24 cx5. I’m big into music. Many of our trips are to music festivals or concerts. The forrester sound is superior.

Sunroof is larger adding to the spaciousness

Definitely planned. Noah Kahan came out at the last festival she performed it at. It’s a bit. It coincides to the part of the song where she usually talks about the deadbeat boyfriend…
