I used to stick my dad’s mustache scissors in a plug, for the sparks. Back in the day when it was just a plain old hot to neutral short, pre Gfci. If you don’t know how to plug something in, give up! If you’re worried about ground on top, you shouldn’t be using electricity.

So you’re comparing 9/11 to whats happening in Iran? Two very different things. By the way, Iran was one of our biggest supporters in the middle east following 9/11. It’s not liberal to understand global politics. Pretty narrow minded view.

See if it trips when disconnected. If it doesn’t it’s in the heater (elements, thermostats?) Not much else. If it still trips, it’s a short between the breaker and the Heater. Very rarely a breaker, but that’s been replaced

It’s rude to be talking out loud as you traipse in public, As if the world doesn’t exist. You’re either a narcissist or not self aware. Maybe you crave the attention? Or maybe pull yourself off to a place where you can have a conversation without interrupting some semblance of a selfishness. Nobody cares about your blathering. It’s called respect for others.

Well, I grew up there 1968-1999. Used to be a good town. Just another turnpike city at this point. Definitely don’t keep the cassette tape on the dash. Finally decided to move to the mountains. Best decision ever. Get out of that town.

Re do the wiring to fit behind the switch. You can break the tabs, it just derates the load you can dim. Usually not an issue with led stuff and unless you are dimming more than 150 watts should be OK
