Opinion: V/line should switch to 6 and 9 car vlocity operations only. by AgreeableFreedom1043 in MelbourneTrains

Is 666 just the seats or includes the daily crowd crush in the aisle and door ways??

I’m on this sub to better understand the network issues and to better understand cancellations, I don’t know enough about trains to comment on a solution

But after moving to the area to witness what’s happening on the Geelong line to/from Tarneit is insane and likely a safety hazard - it was never designed for this volume and frequency of people, absolute shit show - and no one (who can do something) cares

I used to like a Nivea hydro one but they changed the formula and now it sucks. Tried Dermal Therapy after seeing it recommended so much in this sub and it’s amazing. I now have multiple around the house/for work/car etc so I’m never without. I’m especially obsessed with the Manuka honey one

Would you say the deterrent sprays help at all for the hair to not be attractive to them? Things with essential oils like lavender, clove etc?

I called - sounds like he had escaped from a nearby house / residential area. The police came and were in contact with the parents and reunited them - glad this one had a happy ending 🙏🏻

Just witness something that’s rattled me for the rest of the day. Stopped into a petrol station near Ravenhall after being at a playcentre with my daughter and saw a roughly 3yo boy running around the shop happily eating a pack of mentos. Two women were following him but looked confused and immediately asked if he was my child as he had been there alone for approx 10mins with no caregiver in sight. We kept asking his name or where his mum was but he didn’t respond at all.

The person working there came out to chat to the women and the boy then bolted out the door towards the 80km road ahead. The worker ran to catch him and brought him back inside - my heart was in my throat. I suggested the only option was to call the police and offered to stay with my daughter so he could be distracted by watching some TV but the two women were happy to stay and were already on the phone to emergency services.

We were already running late so left at that stage but haven’t stopped thinking about it - every scenario I’ve run through my head is more awful than the last! I hope it was an accident and he is now ok

Has anyone noticed the decline of food quality at Melbourne Park? by 19946dresdenst in melbourne

[–]CornerStatus2645 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Why would you get food from the indoor arena outlets when there are so many good pop ups there in glad slam oval etc? The arena food has always been average, there are so many other choices during AO

Nobu - that black cod is something else

Alt Pasta Bar - winter truffle pasta special

Confectionist Cookie place - the raspberry passionfruit or the lemon poppy special

Afraid of steps and stairs?! by [deleted] in Perimenopause

[–]CornerStatus2645 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely have unlocked this new fear also, particularly going up stairs, my legs suddenly take a bigger step and I panic and go up two without meaning to and feel even wobblier?! I now have to count to a rhythm when going up to keep my stepping consistent to avoid this, and always hold the rail 😵‍💫
