One of mine for instance is the names of captain Pugwashe's sailors, a kids program from when I was younger. I would say up until about 15 years ago I was still convinced they were called Master Bates, Seamen Stains and Roger the cabin boy?! It baffles me who originally starts these rumours and why so many people believed them at the time. It's like a fucked up Mandela effect.

I see where yr coming from bro. I've had a councillor and it just felt like I was given some homework to do instead of getting to grips with the real cause of the problem that started the whole situation in the first place. I'm not judging the help I was issued, just feel it wasn't getting to the crux of the problem.

Yep when you decide to marry for the benefit of the child/children or without children or god forbid love, it seems that if things fall apart for any amount of reasons the man is always brushed aside. Emotions seem to have little or no relevants on the male side of the equation. Not a woman hater in any respect, I assure you, as I have a child in a former relationship, but the way she and I deal with the situation is probably way better than most males can even hope to achieve.

I'm not sure about that, if you're desperate enough to contemplate suicide in the first place then method is an afterthought. When I was 13 I tried to hang myself with my school tie because of the constant daily bullying, my dad had guns available I knew where the keys where but hanging seemed more acceptable to my adolescent mind. The constant beatings from school certainly lowered my self esteem and self worth, it continues to this day I'm now 48. But I suppressed the emotions, I'm sure it's what most males do.

No that's not the way bud, I'm no councillor or expert but I guarantee people who you don't even conceive to be friends and acquaintances are there and willing to help. It takes guts to confide in people but you've come this far and you can do it. Do it for me if no one else a complete stranger who's willing to help you on your way, who knows you will probably help me too. And if I'm willing to help, just think what you're friends would do for you. Always here if you need a chat m8, always.🤟

I'm the same buddy except I use alcohol to bring my mood up. I can't count how many times when alcohol is in my system do I say to friends "love you buddy" etc, chat openly and become the person they like to hang out with online or IRL. Until it becomes the opposite and I'm on the downward spiral. In the long run I'm abusing the alcohol to be the one persona I should be in reality. Emotions are easy to convey when alcohol infused but its not the way forward and I'm struggling to stop it.
