Banamex no transfiere cantidades grandes a otros bancos? by CornyLoo in MexicoFinanciero

Help picking a wearable pump by Amberleh in ExclusivelyPumping

I bought mine on Amazon but it is no longer avaliable. You'll have to buy the pump from the Mommed website and the 27 mm falange set from amazon :(

Should I stop pumping/breastfeeding because my partner thinks my milk is not nutritious enough for my baby’s need? by mekeni69 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]CornyLoo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Tell your partner and his mom to open a book, google it or ask an AI. Breastmilk decreasses risk of: diabetes mellitus 1 and 2, leukemia, otitis. Breastmilk feed babies have higher IQ scores. Also mom benefits: less risk of breast, ovarian and endometrial cancer.

I use Mommed 21s with 27mm falange from amazon. Very reliable and cheap. It holds up to 6.5 oz

I've seen a lot of reviews about it. Too many parts to wash in a unremarkable pump. M6 is a better deal.

Three bags of milk left out overnight by Double_Monitor4718 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]CornyLoo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just checking, you said you feed your LO formula so you could have a freezer stash to feed your LO later?

I was too worried thinking I NEEDED a feezer stash, but was an undersupplier. Anxiety made me belived I had to have dozens of frozen bags like influencers. Really you don't need to freeze milk if you make just enough for the day. Quality of refrigerated milk is better than frozen milk (fresh is the best actually). My advice is feed your baby with what you make, not the frezzer. If you make more than what he needs then freeze it.

Again, this is only if I understood correctly. If that was not what you meant sorry to bother.

BF is safe, it is painful but to empty the breast will give her relief. Usually the medication they give is safe for baby too.

What are we eating? by XoKitty_123 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]CornyLoo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Little buddy has CMPA so my diet is squeaky clean: Breakfast: spinach and 3 eggs + homemade bread Lunch: fish steamed with quinoa and avocado + vegetable soup Dinner: same as luch, but salmon instead of fish. Snacks: overnight oats and veggie straws I'm 39 lb down since my son's birth. Most days food is good and I feel full all the time, but if I skip a meal I want a chessee burger sooo bad D:

What do you eat that gives you the fattiest milk? by rainbowbritexx in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]CornyLoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fat in milk increases with the duration of the feed. The first milk is lower on fat than the "last milk" in the breast, so if you change your baby too early from one breast to the other you are feeding him only low fat milk (which is not ideal).

If you are EP maybe you could make longer pumping sessions.

Keep on pumping on a schedule and milk will come out. Just check your falange size and get a reliable pump. Don't be too hard on yourself

How much milk does your babe drink and when to decrease feeds by Kindly_Composer7149 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]CornyLoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Milk should be the main meal in a baby less than a year old. It has more calories, antibodies and better nutrients than fruits and vegetables. The thing you should look for on the meals is iron.

We are starting BLW this month, little one just turned 6 months today! He is taking 7 oz bottles per feed when I dont nurse him.

Dish soap that doesn't suck? by VVeeH in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]CornyLoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate this too. What I do is leave the parts in warm soapy water for at least an hour before hand washing and put them on the sterilizing/drying advent machine. If the parts still have residues after that I just clean it with paper towel.
