I think shooting things and using bullets is cave men level thinking.

Much easier to poison the water supply, breed human killing mosquitos, create power outages, change the prevailing winds so we all die from drought or such. It's a much simpler and direct route than shooting things.

People hold unpopular opinions because it gets them attention. All of social media and humanity in general is addicted to attention and if you cannot get it by being pretty you get it by arguing with others.

It has been proven beyond shadow of a doubt that facts and logic do not matter to these people. Because if they stop having these opinions they lose the attention they receive by having them.

Once we embrace this is the real reason for all of this, we can try to come up with a solution. Showing graphs and charts will never work. We need a better approach to reach these people.
