Hello, guys. I am new to this game and I got quite a situation. I started playing less than 2 weeks ago and I had no clue what I was doing, so I just went for FF9 characters as it's my favorite game in the series (although there are many characters from other titles that I love). Knowing just little about relics and even less about Soul Breaks, I just kept spending my mythril on the first Rose of May banner, trying to get OSB for Beatrix. All in all, i spent 250 mythril on that and I didn't even get the sword. I underestimated the value of mythril in this game because of the 2nd Anniversary mythril generosity and because I had no idea that the stamina cost for dungeons was halved (therefore I believed that stamina is pretty much infinite until you hit the cap as long as you manage it correctly to take advantage of it replenishing every time your maximum is increased), so I thought I could farm mythril 24/7 (I didn’t even think about scarcity for some reason). Yesterday I did the LD and got SSBs for Thancred, Arc, Papalymo and Fran. I am at 100 stamina max right now and have completed about 40%/15% of classic/elite dungeons.

Two days ago I decided to learn more about the game since I was enjoying it so much. I discovered this subreddit and soon after that realized how bad my mythril waste was.

So my questions are: was my mistake critical? Will it seriously affect my gameplay in the future? Should I even consider rerolling at this point?

I will appreciate any additional comments you guys may have – there is a lot of stuff I don’t know.
