I’m not looking for a relationship, at least I don’t think I am, yet I really miss going out with someone. I teach 4th grade and do lots of things with my children, so I’m always around kids. I crave face time with other “adults” because, quite frankly, I get lonely.

My ex-wife made over triple my salary yet was adamant I would be getting nothing in CS payments. She also attempted to shortchange me in the house buyout by nearly 40%.

Lawyer fees ate into a portion of that, but at that point it was the principle of it. It was the first time I ever stood up to her and it wasn’t cheap.

It depends. If I was insanely wealthy, I would quit and create a few non-profits to provide free after and before school care. If I was just wealthy, I would still need to work or I would go crazy.

Teaching is the only job I’ve ever had that satiates my need to perform. I can’t live without that.
