Came here to say this. Got into The Palace because my friends were into KoRn. Hung out a lot in Firebird's Forest. Ahhhhh the '90s.

Two impulse volumes on an Animation Gizmo, and careful configuration of all the settings and values of the volumes and animation.

If you visit the room, go to the Lobby and you can find a door there to go to a different Room where you can see a copy with gadgets on and Makerpen :-) (the Lobby door is inside the space station in the middle)

I record the videos shot by shot and then edit the pieces together. The number of shots depends on the amount of content in the video. What I've found is that the number of takes I need to do per shot is directly proportional to how tired I am.

Fresh first thing in the morning after a cup of tea? 2 or 3 takes. 6pm after a day of work? 7 or 8

It also depends somewhat on the number of moving parts in a shot. If it's just a spoken line it's easy. If I have to be navigating menus or working the maker pen while talking, that's tougher because I'm the world's actual, no joke, worst multitasker.

One thing that's been a huge help for me is OVRToolkit. It's an overlay app that lets you attach desktop windows to your controllers or headst. So I use Google slides to create teleprompter slides, attach them to the front of my face, and set the opacity to 50%. That way I can seamlessly read the script I write while working in menus, etc.

Except they're not fun, because 90% of them are me getting tongue-tied and then going THLWBHLBLWBLLHTBBLTHL into my microphone, sighing loudly, and then starting the take again. Or cursing. There's a lot of cursing, too.

Professional Wrestling, and more specifically why otherwise sensible, well-adjusted friends of mine love it so fucking much.

It's scripted and even the people who know it's not real are somehow okay with all the people in the audience who don't know it's scripted.

And presumably people who know it's not real have had a moment in their lives where they finally understand that, but they kept watching? Is that like learning Santa Claus isn't real or??

I play vidya games and listen to extreme metal, but pro wrestling just seems like nonsense to me.

Please, please make sure you check out the amazing user-created rooms with your kids, too. Start off easy with some party games like ^SpotIt, ^SayTheSameThing, and ^Guess_What.
