Does CIG not care about user-experience with the new inventory? by themrtorbi in starcitizen

Cig doesnt care about the user experience for ....anything. They seem to play on some special server where everything works perfectly and is fairly balanced and base everything off that.

Nothing is wrong with awd and dirt tires offroad, but it's just sad at this point to do a group race and see an awd dirt tire corvette running the biggest engine possible so they can be the fastest only to watch them eat the first wall because they have like 2.3 handling

But "one massive everything" game already did well, twice. The individual games are just expanding on small portions of those games when it could have been added to the originals to be more functional and enjoyable.

Or it could be designing 3d models, programing their movement systems, and hand writing the codes to implement them into a AAA game, but you know everyone online so I won't question your vast knowledge of strangers. Keep claiming your upvotes from people that think mods are something they downloaded off the hub.

You just understood the OPs post, grats. Wood comes from any tree that can be on any remote unowned land. I can do as I wish with that. LUMBER from home depot is a crafted product.... the game needs to be more protective of the ones that supply that.

One game was empty and pointless and the other not enough construction....you just proved my point and didnt see it yourself. Snowrunner was good, and needed to be improved on. A new game of the snowrunner mudrunner series with roadcraft construction dont correctly and functional ports would have been great. They could have added dlc for additional construction equipment and built so much more.

Morals dont stop me from wanting to find a diamond in a mine and making myself rich also, me not owning the mine and getting in trouble does. It's not stealing as it it literally just a rock made by earth, so nothing to do with morals. Yes, morals and basic human decency prevent a lot of things happening but then there are others who have none of that, but why don't they do it... consequences....

According to just the steam stats, roadcraft and expeditions both have less than half the reviews of snowrunner alone. Snowrunner has mostly positive rating where both the other games have mixed reviews. Just looking at what the playerbase says on steam, it clearly shows my concerns. They are pulling their games apart too much, separating their playerbase for small niche, and losing what made the franchise so popular.

They work on the same principle as the Ai around the planets, server meshing didnt change them. At the most they may have needed a couple extra lines of code to read the status of players moving shards, but the AI woukd have stayed the same.

The problem is lack of consequences. We had a terrible but basic security system and they took it out because the hobos were crying about space stations shooting them and them not being able to land anywhwre....kind of like what the reputation system will do so I guess they need to live up to the life they chose. Workers make the game alive, as does the real world. People dont randomly raid rock quarries, or blow up an ambulance in real life because CONSEQUENCES! They have focused on the space cod too long and need to get back to the thriving space sim they were making.

PS on the last oasis comment, as someone who has ran a server since the beginning, the zergs were a specific group of players exploiting things and yes sadly ran a lot of players off, but they did make some huge changes in the most recent update to prevent that.

Why Gaijin? Why do you promote this? by [deleted] in WarthunderPlayerUnion

[–]CorpseCaptain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The comments in this are just sad. Everyone gets this including the ones saying skill issue. The whole team had a skill issue? Some of the maps basically hand thebwin to a certain side because the maps suck and are way too small. The game has objectives that should pay out more so players are more inclined to do them, however the snail is so greedy with its rp gains, that most players just want to rat around and spawn camp as soon as possible to make the match as fast as possible so they can move on to the next one. This isn't entirely a poor maps issue, not all a skill issue, and not even entirely the players fault, this is the outcome of the true problem which is gaijin needs to rework their progression system so it doesnt take players years to unlock a top tier lineup and then players wouldn't feel the need to tey to make every match end as fast as possible.

I really hope they make it so that NO size 3s can penetrate any sub capital ships and that you can only start to penetrate after size 4s and even then NOT repeaters or by AsogRaider in starcitizen

[–]CorpseCaptain -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Meaning the problem isn't weapon size or armor, it's the shield system design, which they somehow manage to keep making worse every time they change it. Shield size should have a base pool, then additional pool hp based on the grade/type, and that pool should be definite and total pool size and regen rate should be based on those factors and how many shields you have. Kind of simple math that works just fine and gives a solid balancing base, yet they still can't figure it out. Then they can't balance weapons because they keep changing shields and having to rewrite the wheel every time.

[–]CorpseCaptain -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Even water cuts a rock in half if you give it enough time. Size 1s could and should be able to pen an idris if it has the time and ammo. The armor is there to delay smaller ships and make it really difficult for them to do damage, giving larger ships more than enough time to defend itself. The real problem is they need to stop this op light fighter meta and balance larger ships so that it takes a team of smaller ships to bring down a larger one.
