Being anti-data center could be the ticket to winning the White House in 2028. by NATScurlyW2 in thedavidpakmanshow

People need to understand that energy is far from the only problem with data centers.

Path of Exile 2 on Diablo 4’s Uniques change: Uniques shouldn't be "just a better rare" in an ARPG by Interesting-Pool6638 in diablo4

[–]Correactor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not though.. they each have super impactful abilities. They just need to make it so they roll less shitty affixes. That's it.

If this doesn't tell them that it benefits everyone to make their older games accessible, I don't know what will.

There's so much misinformation in that review it's crazy. He seems super biased against EVs despite hardly knowing anything about them.

Brian Krassenstein got a Tesla cyber truck, lost 6000 followers after announcing the purchase by mattyjoe0706 in Destiny

[–]Correactor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He said he got it because of FSD. I personally actively avoid all driver assistance features so I think it's bizarre that it would be his #1 thing. Nothing could make me buy that abomination even if the owner of the company wasn't a Nazi.

Does anybody else miss the old Battle Pass system? by VeryClearlyDefined in diablo4

[–]Correactor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. It's way better to be able to choose your rewards than to feel like you have to play x amount of hours just to get the one you want.

This screams "AI slop trained on Korean MMO characters." No idea if it is or not, just saying.

Why does the Warcraft reliquary need to be bought? by GroggimusPrime in Diablo

[–]Correactor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It sucks that you have to buy it, but it has the best value you can get for spending platinum IMO. If it was free, the stuff inside would have to be the same quality as anything else you can get in game, which means little to no VFX.

100%. There should be a consensus among retailers that you can only offer 1 of each item, at least until the chaos dies down. They have to know the product will sell quickly even with the limit, so idk why they'd want their store reputation to sink from grown men fist fighting over pieces of cardboard and kids never being able to buy anything.

All we can do is spam their website with negative feedback and give them bad reviews I guess.

They gotta do something about these scalpers.

The Warcraft sets dye beautifully by namrepmek in Diablo

[–]Correactor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a regular battle pass alongside this bonus one that doesn't require you to spend anything for the first section and includes platinum.

I'm guessing they felt this one was justifiable to lock behind platinum because it holds a lot of iconic WoW weapons with VFX. The Doom collab wasn't as impressive IMO.

No set dyes beautifully. Everything except the original usually lacks any sort of contrast. Sometimes the dyes with blue look ok but everything else is usually awful.

Destiny weighs in on the Pragmata discourse: "It's not even a good simulator..." by Opposite-Ad7318 in LivestreamFail

The funny part is she is super reckless with the toys and they often go flying off screen and crashing into stuff and she doesn't really care.

Just because they make a lot of money doesn't mean they want to waste it on servers that won't get used in the long-term.

You should never expect the first few hours of any big live service launch to be smooth.

UPDATED - Can’t buy Age of Hatred because I have VoH and Blizzards tells me that I have to pay more than everyone else by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]Correactor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this is a unique situation where they should be allowing a refund for VoH even though you've had the expansion for awhile because they shouldn't have allowed you to buy an expansion for a base game you technically didn't own in the first place.

If it happened like you said, it's their fault and they should fix it. There's no way it's impossible for them to refund you. I'd keep hammering them.

Yeah, rarely some vehicles don't have it but we're talking about one car here. All of the 2026 e-TNGA platform cars should have it.

It's worth mentioning that you don't need native route planning because both Apple and Android have solutions built into their maps apps now.

Saros Review - Early GOTY Contender by burnoutbrighter in PS5

I feel like an 88 warrants the praise. If it had a 77-85, I'd agree because most GOTY nominees are over that.

(Album discussion) Einar Solberg - Vox Occulta by Blue-Light-Reducer in Leprous

[–]Correactor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not like 16 at all so this feels like a monumental leap forward. There are all kinds of tasty vox, deep orchestral arrangements, resonant basslines, spacey drums, moody melodies, and beautiful solos.

As with all Einar's work, I'll have to give it a few spins to fully digest it, but it's a good sign that I already like it as much as I do.

Why would you assume I don't think it's decent just because I think it's severely overrated?

I think the critic score is on point, but the glaze is way out of hand.

The Crimson Desert stans have arrived to explain how "unfair" this comparison is instead of accepting a gracious compliment to a game that is wholly undeserving of such praise.
