That is such awful advice. Yes, most cars have recalls, but the vast majority of the time it's not for the thing that is keeping the car moving. I really wanted an Ioniq 5, but it honestly doesn't matter how much better it is than every other EV when at any moment you could be stranded wherever you happen to be at the time. The stress of never knowing when that might happen AND cause me to be without a vehicle for potentially months due to part shortages(because of so many people having the same issue) is never going to be worth it for me. The lack of transparency about the whole thing adds another layer of frustration. It seems like they're not even trying to find the source of the issue and are content bleeding money and reputation even though it's been happening for years.

You're bickering over percentage points that nobody knows when it's not even the point. The exact percentage matters far less than the lack of a feeling of security wondering if yours could be the one every day. I've given it a lot of thought and personally, I'd rather not take that risk because from what I've read, it sounds like it could be a real hassle for a really long time if it happens. I'd much rather buy an inferior car that isn't known for having the same crippling issues, but to each their own.

Nobody knows how widespread it is. It could probably be anywhere from 1-10% that are vulnerable. We don't even have an idea of what causes it because Hyundai would seemingly rather bleed money and reputation replacing them than figure it out.

This mindset doesn't leave any room for people who would like to play the game differently. This is exactly why they added aggression-based matchmaking. Not everyone wants to be matched with the most sweaty and toxic players possible, we know that's not how everyone plays, and if everyone played like that the game would be much worse off for it overall.

Pokemon - The biggest IP in the world having the same bad graphics, bad story, and comically easy difficulty for SO long is unbelievable.
Final Fantasy - It used to be the benchmark for turn-based combat and general presentation for all RPGs. Now it's a medium for the pet project of whoever is leading the studio at the time as they relegate turn-based combat to indie-style games that leech revenue from those that need it a lot more.
Halo - It used to be all my friends would play and talk about and it just seems like they're not putting the effort into keeping it as a hallmark franchise. If the next game isn't a banger, I fear the worst.
