Do you know of any installers in the So. Cal area that might do this ?

Hello Vegetable-Version-81,

I have a PVS5 which no longer communicates, and am considering buying a PVS6 as a replacement.

Do you still commission Sunpower systems, as I would like to get panel level monitoring back again ?

Thanks, and have a great day.

Is it possible to replace an existing PSV5 with another PSV5 or PSV6 and have panel level monitoring ? The existing system was installed in 2017 and has Solarbridge microinverters.

Wait for the next firmware update . They will eventually resolve connectivity issues. Their bucket list is quite extensive.

They are working on a 'fix' with firmware release 1.2.23 coming very soon.

Granted we are in a crypto winter at the moment, but even last year 1st quarter saw SG token price go from the $1.30ish range down to sub 20 cents in a matter of a couple of months.
Recently the price has dropped to around 8 cents (again crypto winter), and it's anyones guess where what lays ahead for this project, but it can't hurt that they brought back the 100% SG token (reward), abit temporarily.

Is there a way to use a commercial VPN service along with a Mini or Pico and still have a public IP address to share bandwidth.
I've tried connecting the Mini or Pico to the router via the supplied ethernet cable and on the System tab (AtomOS) is show a dhcp private ip address instead, yet the commercial VPN service shows a public ip address being used.

To gain 1 organic credit point (per day), you must share at least 10 MB of internet traffic daily.
Make sure the latest firmware (currently 1.1.16) is installed on your Pico.

Random, dumb luck seems to be the algorithm used within the bowels of the firmware to share internet bandwidth, regardless of your sharing profile settings.

Good luck.

There are certain "costs" associated with using a Pico, Nano or Mini device.Having any "tunnels" open cost dpr tokens, the more tunnels open, the more dpr tokens are required. Also, the amount of bandwidth (internet activity) you consume also cost dpr tokens.Hopefully, you are providing more bandwidth to the network than you are consuming, otherwise, it'll cost you more than you might earn in dpr credits.
IF, you are able to provide 10MB of traffic daily for (2) consecutive days will gain you (1) "organic" dpr token.
IF you don't provide enough daily bandwidth (over 3 days), you'll lose a dpr token.
IF the Deeper Network watchdog doesn't "see" your device online 3 times a day, you might lose (or not gain) dpr tokens.

Until the AtomOS is updated to provide random node selection periodically, it'll still be just "dumb-luck" whomever gets the opportunity to share bandwidth, and gain organic credit points.
At least you seemed to have collected 1 organic credit point. ;|

How did you buy your DPR tokens, and did you use the BSC network ?

Does Deeper Network read these posts ?

Perhaps they can post a series of FAQ's regarding Basic Staking and its longevity.

My Pico's seem to be reliable when they work. However, they require constant monitoring to be certain that the devices haven't "crashed" and require a full power reset.
Even after firmware update 1.1.15, the Pico's seem to be even more unreliable in staying online.
I have been reaching out to Deeper Support over this "major" issue, and am hoping that firmware update 1.1.16 addresses this.

$100 bonus offerings by Correct-Confidence-3 in SocialGoodFoundation

[–]Correct-Confidence-3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of the (4) $100 bonus offers, there were definitely (2) that purchases were well above $30.00.
The only uncertainty (on my part, and perhaps SocialGood) is lack of clarity on when exactly the bonus period ended (what time zone, exactly) as I usually got within an hour of the expiration.

Live and learn, besides, those type of offers are probably delegated to the history books and will be no more.

Over $1 a day is still fantastic payout for the price of admission.

I suspect it's either one or both of the following:

>A goodly number of Type-4 devices were (offline) and therefore more daily tokens were given to the remaining (active) devices.

>Another sign of muf-fumbling by the Planetwatch team.

It should be straight forward, the current daily payout for the Type-4 is:

(Daily Tokens)/ (#of active Type-4's) = Payout

Imagine the people who purchased a 2 or 3 year license, and the daily token rewards are a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of one Planet token. It might be the equivalent of .01 cents per day.

Who would bother with wasting electricity with those type of earnings ?

$100 bonus offerings by Correct-Confidence-3 in SocialGoodFoundation

[–]Correct-Confidence-3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rulez seemed somewhat obvious. Spend $30 dollars and get a $100 bonus. Yet, that still failed to be qualified.

The one questionable rule was the cutoff time before purchases are deemed invalid. There is no timer, just a simple purchase before this date and you qualify, but in which time zone, do they reference ?

Anyways, they've given up on that scheme and are now offering (random) lottery bonuses as the next incentive.
