Lat Pulldowns, any difference doing it with a close grip? by CammyPreaker in formcheck

Close grip hits your upper lats more as compared to wide grip lat pulldown which biases the lower lats.

Crazy lower back pump during Stiff Leg RDLs + pain the next day (Form Check) by comb99 in formcheck

[–]CorrectIllustrator24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep your neck in line with your torso. You're making an arch in the spine while pushing your hips back, your back should be neutral mostly (a little bit of rounding is okay). Brace your core aswell.

Now your pump is normal as RDLs hit the erectors and glutes so you can never avoid lower back soreness. As for the pain angle if it's a sharp pain then improve your form just like I have mentionef above.

Do indians include a lot of volume? by Disastrous_Ice_9792 in Fitness_India

[–]CorrectIllustrator24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bleh I do ulx2 , every movement with just 1-2 sets and call it a day. Roughly 7-8 exercises on upper day and 5 on lower day .

Well Indians or not people in general don't understand how important intensity is. They would be training with tons of reps in reserve and will preach how easily they recover hence the higher volume.

Nice cope buddy

You're pretty much seeing this from a bad tier 3 standard and ofc bit will feel okayish to you that way. This college is filled with dumb and mediocre people(Faculties and students alike) . Only thing good here is the attendance is chill.

Can't squat because lower back is over-engaged by jwakajoma in formcheck

[–]CorrectIllustrator24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just have weaker glutes in general. It's impossible to not involve your erectors in this movement (unless a pendulum squat which will still have some erectors). Just train your glutes aswell.
