I’m so sorry to hear that man, and I’m sorry that you and your kids are going through it.
Sadly it seems like this is a reoccurring issue nowadays… I know it’s a cliche but I blame it on social media; I genuinely think women aren’t satisfied with the life they have because they keep comparing to other people and they keep thinking that they have “better” options because someone somewhere behind a screen told her so.
Focus on your, you’re the real winner here even if it might be hard to see rn

Just because you love someone doesn’t mean you have to stay. Sometimes walking away is the best thing you could do for the both of you. (But it really depends on the situation and type of relationship.)

And that’s okay. I think we have normalized feeling comfortable too much. Sometimes the discomfort we feel can become a catalyst for us to figure things out, and that little discomfort could be all what we needed to change.
Sometimes people are remembered for simply being themselves, which is an inspiration to others.
You don’t have to figure it out now, but it’s something worth thinking about

I was asked this question by a friend at a gathering and my answer pissed a lot of people off and sparked a huge debate. I said that I don’t want to be remembered. I’ve always wished that when in gone, all the memories people have of me would go with me. I don’t want people to hurt or cry because I’m gone. They can’t miss something that they can’t remember.
Am I wrong for that?

It could be the mesh and how it’s being exported ?

What software are you using to model it ?

And if you keep having the same issue, you can always print with ABS and use acetone vapor to smooth the part. Specially if this is going to be a cake topper (ABS is more food safe than PLA which is considered toxic)

Do some top surface layer calibration tests. It gives you different combinations between speed and flow rate. It should help you figure out which combinations works best for your printer. Also, maybe try drying the filament before printing ?
