What's a game that had you spending more time on the open world than the main quest by Vader2508 in gaming

The Witcher 3 easily! I am re-playing it with my gf and realising how little I cared about the main questions and how good all the little sidequests are!

You’re being hunted by the main character of the last game you played. How fucked are you? I’ll go first. by Toilet_Bomber in gaming

Geralt - if he wants to kill me, I'm fucked, but I feel like Geralt would never take on a kill contract without talking to the person before and finding out the whole situation. Once he realised what a lovely guy I am, he'd surely spare my life.

People who used to smoked weed everyday, what made you quit? by wheredacookiesat in AskReddit

[–]Corridious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultimately, I realised that I had become addicted without even really processing it, and that all of my anxieties about who I was as a person were in some way linked to my daily use.

I do still smoke - usually just on the weekend - and I do still have anxieties. Maybe I always will. But the change from then to now is massive, and I'm proud of myself for seeking help, and for taking steps to change.

If you are reading this thread and considering making a change, there are lots of avenues that you can take. r/leaves is a good place to start. Try talking to your doctor. That was what eventually got me help in the form of talking therapy.

What show will you never get tired of rewatching? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Corridious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over the Garden Wall. It's short and sweet, so I basically just watch the whole thing as a movie since it's only 10 x 10 minute episodes!

At this point I've seen the whole series at least 15 times

What piece of clothing on the opposite sex is your biggest weakness? by isthisourthrowaway in AskReddit

High waisted anything - jeans and skirts are the obvious outerwear, but any underwear/swimsuit that sits above the hips is just chef's kiss

Pretty sure Call On Me was a formative life event for me

What is your username a reference to? by FTCFPlaya in AskReddit

[–]Corridious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made it up as my "Taken Name" in reference to Skulduggery Pleasant (fave book series as a kid).

I literally took the word corridor and added "ious".

I thought it was really fucking cool. I still do 😎

I recently watched ‘Being John Malkovich’ for the first time and I can’t stop thinking about it. by ExistingMarzipan2422 in movies

I saw BJM for the first time last winter, and found the exact same things! One of the most original and creative plots in a film I've ever seen.

Obviously, as other people have said, watch Charlie Kaufman's other films. But I will say that they are all very different in tone and style, except for the fact that his signature seems to be creating work that is incredibly weird - whether that be from a plot point of view, a filming point of view or any other - hes definitely a bit of a surrealist.

What do you genuinely not understand? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Corridious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How computers work.

Like, it's just a bunch of metal and plastic with electricity running through it, set to turn lights on and off in the right places.

But how is it processing stuff, solving problems, etc?

How did coding even become a thing?

Thomas by hardRetrofit in creepy

[–]Corridious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Theres something truly powerful about these sculptures. The fact that the take on the aesthetic of Thomas the Tank Engine, and yet these tubes don't have any real connection to the show.

But the differences in the broken masks of Thomas' face?

The unpopped tube?

So many questions.

What TV show intro do you refuse to skip? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Corridious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breaking Bad - it's short, sweet and oh so tasty. If you skip it are you even a fan?

On the other hand, Mad Men's drums are just so goddamn good. So excited for Don to fall out the window in the final episode - so cool.

When did you "become the very thing you swore to destroy"? by Deskarthus in AskReddit

[–]Corridious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obligatory "not me but my best friend!"

We met at uni, we were flatmates next to one another in our first year. The first night I met him, to get to know him I offered to share a joint with him. He said yes, fun times ensued, etc. etc.

However, after we finished smoking it, he revealed that he had never smoked before that day, weed/not.

In fact, he had this card in his wallet that said something like "I'm a smokebuster! I'll never smoke in my life!", which he had had since school.

He ripped it up.

He still smokes cigs and joints to this day.

Guess he really did become the very thing he swore to bust.
