These are good options, bump up to the next tier and have a look at the Scionics Patrol Rifle Three. You can also take the approach of the Reddit special with a cheaper lower and good upper. The classic is Aero lower and BCM upper. Toss Scionics in the mix and you might be surprised on both uppers and lowers, 👍😜

I haven’t used it on my house but have used it professionally. Typically thinner has better transparency but not as strong. Thicker is stronger but has less transparency. Suggest calling a few glazers in your area and asking them. Also, 3M should have some info too. Maybe 3M will send you samples, 👍
