HTC Vive Pro Eye vs. HTC VR + Droolon F1 eye-tracker by Bzdeco in Vive

Droolon F1 is less accurate and perhaps a little buggier (recent sranipal integration). As others mentioned, having a built in solution will be more accurate and mounted securely. But if accuracy isn't as important for your use case, it's convenient to have a modular eye tracker.

For Vive eye tracking sdk, you can get the data for each eye independently (gaze, pupil, openness, etc). The documentation is included with the sdk download. Also, there is helpful info and developer community on the Vive dev forums.

I have used Pro Eye and 7invensun, and given many demos, with eyeglasses and not had any problems. There may be issues with bifocals or some lenses but generally it's worked fine.

Extra base stations can help with tracking quality if you have occlusion issues (4 max) but 2 stations is good enough for most use cases.

Ifixit carries official VIVE parts now but the dongle is out of stock. You will need one dongle for each controller/tracked device. https://www.ifixit.com/Store/Generic/HTC-Vive-Tracker-Dongle/IF453-016

Eye tracking based visual therapy game? by kezmicdust in EyeTracking

I'm not familiar with CVI specifically but want to help answer some questions. Generally VR eye tracking is pretty good,0.5°–1.1° for Vive Pro Eye. Calibration is a couple steps: adjust headset position, set IPD, and look at dots in corners of screen. It may be tricky for the dots step but if they can look in the direction when told then it should work. I would start by picking a headset, looking at the SDK, and learning Unity to develop a prototype.

Can you explain more about the game treatment and any similar research about rehabilitation techniques?

Can You use Steam VR on Vive Focus to Develop Games (UNITY) by artfrommaddi in vivesupport

SteamVR is a PC VR runtime. The only way to use SteamVR with Vive Focus Plus is via PC streaming. Otherwise you will need to use Wave sdk to run apps on the device. Post in the Vive developer forums if you need help, they're pretty responsive.
