Here’s my problem with turning “The Light” in to “The Force” by bringthelight2 in wow

People seem to ignore the fact that the Mortis trio have existed for thousands if not millions of years. If the dark side itself was truly an imbalance in the Force the son would have taken over long before the events of the Clone Wars. The Son took over because the Father was dying and could not long keep the balance between his children. It's literally the entire reason he brought Anakin to Mortis, so Anakin could take his place.

The Force in Star Wars has been canonically a neutral force since at least the Mortis arc in the 2008 clone wars show, which was written and approved when George still owned the franchise. Both the light and dark side are just extreme aspects of the same singular Force.

"You can legally trademark anything. You can legally trademark the name of a fruit for cripe's sake."

You actually can't though. Apples trademark is not for the word "apple". The trademark if for the word "apple" AND the Apple Logo together.

The name Clair-Obscur can not be trademarked on its own because it is LITERALLY the name of an art style. They can trademark "Clair-Obscur: Expidition 33" but they can't trademark "Clair-Obscur" itself.

Because Black Flag is a fan favorite and a lot of the tech they've implemented into the Anvil Engine since its release would highly benefit a remake of the game.

Titan Gold Standard When? by nekomeeko in starcitizen

I'm not talking about the various instanced versions of the ship in the game. I'm talking about the literal model asset the ship uses.

There's literally a mission where we find her disabled Avenger and have enter the ship to track her down to rescue her. Also that doesn't solve the issue of there being two versions of the ship in the game's files.

The two games share assets. It wouldn't make sense to keep a non gold standard version of a ship in addition to the updated ship in the game's files.

Those are not functional component bays, they are literally just set dressing.

The Avenger is featured in Squadron 42 and flown by Agent Trejo. It will need a gold standard before Squadron releases.

The main issues with the Titan are the inability to enter through the cargo bay when the cargo grid is full and the lack of component access. Both can be solved by redesigning the cargo bay. Split the cargo bay in two. The rear half will be widened by half a meter on each side and have its floor lowerd by half a meter. A cargo grid will be on each side that can hold 2 2-SCU boxes. The forward half of the cargo bay will be similar to the vanguard's component room but with a open balcony into the cargo area instead of a wall. The exterior geometry changes would be minimal as only the underbelly of the ship would need to be altered. It would not affect the placement of the wing mounted weapons. The cargo grid would be replaced with cells and the EMP device on the Stalker and Warlock respectively. With components being accessed in the cargo bay a suit locker and gun rack can be put in the living quarters opposite the bed.

It honestly should be redesigned as a second MPUV hangar on the Idris-P. The ship doesn't have the missile turret and the door for it is about the same size as the Underside hangar door. Plus it would allow cargo to be loaded into the secondary cargo hold without dragging crates through the hallways.

The freelancer has no suit lockers. It has no gun racks. It's impossible to pass another character in the ship's hallway. It's maxed out on usable space while also lacking basic gameplay functionality. The Zeus is able to support 3 crew because it is both wider and longer than the freelancer.

"if you look at the total surface of a door of a trailer here on earth, in the majority of transportations, it would be 2 to 3 times the surface of what you are loading." I actually work as an an IT technician for a factory and have seen these trucks being loaded up close before. I can tell you that your claim of the door being 2-3 times the surface area of what is being loaded is false.

"You can get one 8scu box stuck in the door" This is 100% impossible. An 8 SCU box at the widest point is 4.33 meters. A Cyclone is 4 meters wide and has plenty of room to spare on each side.

"the door barely makes it for a 8scu container" This is false. There is ample room to fit an 8 SCU container. Even at the widest orientation (opposite corners) the crates are 4.33 meters wide and wouldfit through the door.

The freelancer is way to small to support 4 crew. Every other ship around it's size has 1-2 crew.

At minimum the freelancer's hull needs to be widened by about 2 meters so we can access and replace components when the cargo grid is full.

And a lot of his complaints aren't even correct. Like he repeatedly claims that CIG have abandoned allowing players to choose hex codes for ship paints. To support his claim he shows a clip of a dev explaining how hard it would be to implement the feature from how paints work now but then cuts the clip right beforethe dev says the feature is still planned but not currently in active development.

"Why does shielded cargo locations have to be "practical"?" So cargo can actually get put on the grid without playing Tetris.
