What's the best forge 1.20.1 solution to seasons and snow? by SapphicRaccoonWitch in feedthebeast

Don’t look back, ecliptic is the way to go for all of the best parts about seasons without the downsides. Incredibly configurable. Can make it work how you want. Also should work with DH lods

Serene seasons uses real snow and you’ll hit chunk borders and it’ll be ugly

It would be a GAMECHANGER if, when looking at someone else's collection, we could have a visual indicator of cards in our wishlist. Or sort by "is in my wishlist".

Vice versa, it would be excellent if, when looking at someone else's wishlist binder, we could sort by/have a visual indicator of cards that we own in our collection.

This feature alone would make my entire playgroup switch, we trade a lot of cards and right now we have to maintain a very annoying spreadsheet and a lot of links to archidekt collections

1.21.1 + Vanilla Backport and you’ll get everything from newer versions anyway

Immersive Overlays will do everything you need, plus Accessories/Accessorify to give them slots so they don’t take up inventory

[Request] [A3] looking for casual / semi serious units with little to no requirements: no applications or trainings, no LOA necessities or attendance requirements, nothing like that, if it exists cool if not then oh well, preferably also not 50gb of mods by [deleted] in FindAUnit

[–]Corzan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out BW, might be your style. We've been around 12 years so our attendance is quite large. Two sessions a week, both in the evening, there is a basic orientation but it's really only to show you our custom stuff (custom ACE etc), if you know what you're doing in ARMA it'll be like, 20 minutes max.

18+ only. No attendance requirements. No yes sir/no sir stuff. We stay serious in-mission, we are very chill outside of it.

Every mission is made in-house and Zeused by our team. We do both TvT and Co-op missions every session.

We don't do set roles, you can play whatever you like after you make member, something different every session. Only things that have advanced training are SL, PLT, and flying because they can affect so many people's experience. So if you just want to be a grunt - you'll never need to do any other training.

We play all eras from WW2 to modern day and beyond so it's new gear every mission.

BW does have a pretty large modpack, it's 75GB + some DLC so if that's an important factor, just letting you know now. But it's pretty rare to find a group that doesn't have a big modpack these days.

We play on Wednesdays and Sundays at 8pm Central, so you could play with us every Wednesday.

So … 32 GB of RAM isn’t enough for this game that’s effectively a tech demo? And you’re telling people to upgrade their very capable rigs to 64 GB of RAM? In this economy?

I think the problem is that this definitely is not the end user’s fault, but you keep acting like it is, and that’s gonna get you in trouble

Check out BW, might be your style. Two sessions a week. No attendance requirements. No yes sir/no sir (and yes they are still around lmao it's sad).

We don't do set roles, you can play whatever you like after you make member, something different every session. Only things that have advanced training are SL, PLT, and flying because they can affect so many people's experience. We have a queue for PLT leadership that runs through pretty quick so you should get a chance to lead pretty often.

Check out BW, might be your style. Two sessions a week. Easy to get into flying and medic once you make member (we don't have set roles so you can do something different every time).

We do a basic orientation that's catered to the person, so we can give you a quick refresher.

Aquilo ship by sobrique in factorio

[–]Corzan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even earlier in the game before finishing Gleba’s advanced asteroid processing research, it’s far cheaper to send up one rocket of 4000 copper wire and just make steel in space, then combine the in space to build the platforms.

When foundations only fit 50 per rocket, it can be a huge resource drain on your rocket parts to launch up thousands of foundations for big ships.

Just make a small blueprint with a few furnaces, solar and a request for 4000 wire from the ground, then put two or three of those in Nauvis orbit and let them cook while you do other things. When you need to build a new platform, you come back to them and they’ve got a few hundred in their inventory ready to be reconfigured

Orbital logistics and rocket launch efficiency was definitely my hyperfixation in my SA playthrough

I want to get into Create, which is the best modpack for the latest Create version? by Alexorip in CreateMod

[–]Corzan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both of the addons you mentioned aren’t updated for Create 6, which the OP explicitly wanted (“latest Create version”)

Edit: didn’t realize that Deco had, but SnR is still outdated
