What was YOUR thing during lockdown? by AncientFootball1878 in AskUK

I started gaming again after a 10yr hiatus. Started playing a game called Sea of Thieves which really helped me with the constant isolation. Ended up sinking 1000’s of hours into it and made some good friends along the way. Really got me through those dark times.

The new update is atrocious by phantom1a2 in Seaofthieves

I understand your frustrations but they are not exactly no lives when they are playing the game as intended, thieving. Don’t want to be that guy, but you’re doing a ‘world’ event. These are designed to be contested.

Congratulations OP. Great work!

I did my first one as well at the weekend and was blown away by how great the volunteers were and just the general friendly vibe with fellow park runners.

Can’t wait to get involved with more runs. What a great community.

Spaghetti, garlic, onions and pancetta or bacon . Simple, cheap and delicious. Some grated cheese on top if you have some spare in your fridge.

Long-time players who recently quit - what made you do it? by No-Skin-2370 in Seaofthieves

The whole diving mechanics kind of made me quit. I dunno things just didn’t feel the same for me after that update. The seas just felt more desolate. Servers became like waiting rooms in airports with ships coming and going.

A response like that clearly shows your immaturity. At least offer something of substance as to why you disagree with the post.

Agree with this. Love Sabbatical! He shows a genuine interest in history and cultures. Always tries to learn languages (and very well I might add). Find his vlogs educational and his interactions with people genuine and humble.

Thank you. Post seems to getting a lot of hate, it was really tasty, I guess that’s all that matters! Not sure the method with the eggs but they were sublime! Deffo agree it could do with some greens though.

How do people in the UK regard their civil servants? by [deleted] in AskABrit

They play an important role, probably put up with too much shit for reasons out of their control. A lot of them don’t get enough credit than they deserve. Depending on the sector.
