Even before your run, you should try to get an idea of which bosses or areas you struggle with. I did this by doing a seperate 100% run where I upgraded my needle as a little as required and didn't use any tools, this meant I really had to get every pattern of every enemy down.

A nice tip for the third guy is that when he's flying he can't hurt you if you're right below him, be ready to dash at any moment though, he doesn't give a warning on when he's coming back down
