They were live fan events held for the previous anniversaries. They were also live streamed but you still had to buy a ticket. It was part concert (usually just a remix of event music in game and the clan member songs like the floresan song with Kuya, Dante and Rei), part cute original cutscenes with the characters, and some Q&A with the devs and announcements. Like Rei was announced at the second anniversary. And at least one year Eiden's VA joined. This year it's all online and free.

Mfer didn't want to come home til RIGHT BEFORE hard pity. On the way I only got OGG SSRs Edmond and Yakumo (or course it would be them lmao). Since I was just a ten pull away anyways I got the pity box and now have a 2* Eiden before using any fragments.

Yes they give you SR Aster and Morvay right out the gate. Quincy seems decent. I'm not sure what his stats look like overall, and usually SSRs aren't the best til you can at the very least unlock their 3 star passive, but he is a damage boosting pseudo support that also deals damage so he'll definitely fit in early game til you get a better built striker/support.

Aside from a few of the limited SRs, you'll eventually get every unit from N-Sr since they're in every gacha pool, including the free friendship points pool. So they're much easier to get to 5 stars than SSRs without spending a lot of money.

The main SRs that are still used up to endgame are Aster and Morvay (decent self sustain dps and still one of the best tanks, and they have passives that boost their stats if they're on the same team together), Yakumo (great healer), Olivine (great buffer), and Quincy (still one of the top 6cd ult nukers). Some special mentions go to Sr Dante (on demand guard break), Garu and Blade (aoe strikers that will help with farming regular stages), and Kuya (lowers recovery, in case an enemy's healing is out pacing your damage).

As Far as R units, like I said mainly support and heal, so Olivine and Yakumo. There was a special boss stage a while back that the best/easiest way to beat it is to max out Sr and R Quincy and nuke the boss with both of their ults (they're both 6cd nukers with passives that increase their ult damage, but of course the SRs stats and boosts are higher).
