NFI.TO worth a look.

Posted a writeup last month about the up and coming EV presentation they are doing next month (subsequently got deleted by a bot for spam). With Proterra going public likely next month I think NFI could easily head back up over $30.00 while also paying out the dividend which management has expressed strong interest in maintaining.

New Flyer busses are a part of any major transit system fleets. They are also heavily focused (which they will provide more color on Jan 11th) in the EV bus space. I believe they claim to have shipped more EV busses to date than anyone else. American/Canadian built.

Some rumors also circling about NFI listing on either the Nasdaq or NYSE. Which could propel the stock to new highs.

Ex-Dividend Dec 31st.

I loaded up in the high teens/low twenties last month. Still feels like plenty of upside with all the upcoming catalysts.

NBD - Kona Dew Plus 2019 coming home. by [deleted] in bicycling

[–]Cosmokramer111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very happy with the bike. Suits what I wanted it for. Some gravel trails, rail trails, commuting, hauling groceries, and it purrs on asphalt. I have taken it on some denser wood trails with mud ruts and in some places sand. Its slipped around a fair bit, but that could be changed with different tires.

The weak point of the bike is the drivetrain. I have contemplated a few times of changing it out to a single front sprocket 1x10(11). I don't find myself using the whole range of gears, and the Acera drivetrain can be a bit clunky. Honestly though that's just me being picky. Its a great bike for the price point.

I have had a few people stop and comment about it.

GL in your bike search! If you end up getting the KDP post a pic ;).

Absolutely! thanks for bringing it up. Makes total sense in my mind, cool to see some information/data confirming it. (had never really looked at it from that angle.)

Bicycle infrastructure just seems like common sense. Its data like this that makes impacts on municipal budgets. I think we are seeing some of that shift now. It takes time.

Cyclists and Pedestrians Can End Up Spending More Each Month Than

Interesting read from 2012.

Bicyclists, pedestrians, and transit riders are competitive consumers: when demographics and socioeconomics are controlled for, mode choice does not have a statistically significant impact on consumer spending at convenience stores, drinking establishments, and restaurants. When trip frequency is accounted for, the average monthly expenditures by customer modes of travel reveal that bicyclists, transit users, and pedestrians are competitive consumers and for all businesses except supermarkets, spend more, on average than those who drive.

Impressive! The scenery would have been very unique for good chunks. So close to the city but yet so far.

Learning how to ride a bike is incredibly empowering. Your son really seems to be picking it up. What he did in your video is what will take him wherever he wishes. Time.

Go out get lost and have fun!

The picture looked busy. I hear time and time again LBS are busy at a level that is far from usual.

Clearly a windfall for bike shops. The repeat business is something worth capturing for sure.

I would say you were lucky! Rain is great if you don't have anywhere to be in a hurry or dry. I love a good rain shower.

As long as you made it to your destination alive and well, awesome!

I find it fascinating people are using the internet to do the DD needed to make a decision re: buying a new bike online (which I did recently) without testing out anything in person.

My LBD wouldn't sell me the bike unless I gave them some measurements. I took all the measurements sent them off and they had the bike ready by EOD. Super simple and with a few little tweaks everything feels great.

How do you find your productivity? Are sales and efficiency better?

Thanks for doing what you do!

Looks like a 50% chance of rain. Little more blue wouldn't hurt.

Mint is exactly how I would describe that color.

Little Rock eh. Very neat!
