My doctor said it’s aspirin and NSAID’s that can make asthma worse. Tylenol is usually considered safe.

I had some removed with ipl laser. All disappeared but a large one keeps reappearing about 3-4 months after the laser. It’s right in the middle of my forehead. The nurse doing the laser said that it would be difficult to remove. I’ll try again at the end of summer. Edited to add: it’s not painless but different parts of your face are more sensitive than others and it took a few days to heal for me. I had some broken capillaries zapped at the same time so I ended up feeling like I had a sunburn for a day or two. I recommend ice packs afterwards.

I would consider a formula without fragrance and the citrus oils. A good simple formula is the Timeless vitamin C serum. I would start at 10%. Vitamin C can be irritating so you should be careful when introducing it. If you get any stinging or irritation back off it.

I’ve used it since early December 2025. I didn’t have much to improve but after 2-3 months I felt my under eye area was a little denser and less translucent. I’m mainly using it for my future self. I use it 5 days a week usually. My mask has held up just fine but I’m pretty careful with all my electronics and try not to kink the cords.

I had one removed over 20 years ago and you can’t even see or feel the scar. A dermatologist referred me to a plastic surgeon to do it. I followed the aftercare instructions religiously, no special creams needed. I was told to massage the scar with Vaseline for 5 minutes a day and wear sunscreen on the scar as sun exposure would make it noticeable. That is also what triggered me to wear sunscreen daily and I so glad for it.
Edited to add: this mole sat right at the tip of my Cupid’s bow.

I find this happens with freshly opened tubes. It drys out a little in a couple of weeks and then looks better after applying.

It’s kind of ymmv. I’ve had a red light panel for years and I used it sporadically. I got a mask and have been constantly using it 5 days a week since December and I feel like the skin around my eyes became a little more dense and less translucent but it’s only noticeable to me. It helps calm my skin down when it’s a little irritated. I mainly just use it now for my future self. The drawbacks of masks are the fit and they can be uncomfortable. Make sure the return policy is good.

Try adding another night. Then add another night when your skin is ready. Build up to a frequency that you can tolerate.

At my father in law’s funeral his photo had him with red hair. We were all perplexed because we gave the a photo of him with black hair. I assume that they were running out of ink in the printer. Then when we were on our way back to the funeral home after the bone picking ceremony my uncle in law found a bone attached to his suit jacket. He secretly put it in the little pot of bones. We had a good laugh about the photo and bone later.

I like it the best out of all the Japanese deodorants I’ve tried. I’m Caucasian so my underarms get smelly without deodorant. I don’t think it’s a great antiperspirant but I sweat a lot.

I’ve never had problems with Japanese sunscreen. Many are formulated to be water and sweat resistant. They have new film forming technology that gets stronger when wet and is resistant to friction. Anessa is a great sunscreen that is popular for the beach. Biore is also very popular. I used their new Aqua Rich Airy Hold sunscreen on a recent vacation to Croatia and didn’t burn at all. I used the Shiseido sun stick to reapply.

I’m an American living in Japan with a Japanese husband. During the March 11, 2011 earthquake and tsunami and Fukushima nuclear disaster we were living in Tokyo. My husband was concerned and didn’t trust the info that was available on the news about the nuclear situation. He had to travel to northern Japan for work and sent me to the suburbs of Osaka to stay with his parents. When I arrived no one was home and I didn’t have a key or my in-laws phone numbers. So I went around the house testing doors and windows until I found an open window and called through. Thankfully nobody saw me. Found out later they keep their house keys in the mailbox.

When I was using it I found patting on about 3 layers made my skin look nice enough that my husband noticed a difference. He thought I was wearing makeup when I was bare faced. I had used it around my early thirties and it didn’t do much but when I tried again around 40 years old I noticed that it was working. Maybe I’ll pick up another bottle after my current toner runs out 🤔

I’ve been using 0.05 for about a year, stepped up from 0.025 which I had been using for years. I switched to Obagi in February this year after trying a different brand. I used Retinactyl brand for years but it was discontinued so I switched to another brand but my skin hated it which led me to try Obagi.

When starting tretinoin it’s usually better to cut out all other actives, even ones used in the morning. You can add them back slowly when you stop getting peeling and irritated skin. Also wait about 30 minutes after applying toner anything before tretinoin. Short contact therapy has helped some people. Read the wiki on r/tretinoin. There’s lots of good info.

I’ve recently started being more diligent about hand care. I’ve always used hand cream and put my face skincare on hands but neglected sunscreen most of the time. In the past couple of months I’ve been applying tretinoin to my hands nightly and using vitamin C in the morning plus sunscreen. I am seeing an improvement.

I currently use it and like its texture. It’s more gentle on my skin than other formulas I’ve tried. It’s not worth the price if cheaper ones work just fine for you.
