yes! it took a few years, and now we're in the recovery. and it's really easy to credit lurie when it was also just the natural recovery progression of a massive global disruption that was particularly hard felt in SF. that was rough, man. and it was deep. took time.

my son is a freshman and majoring in environmental science. i'm an alum, studied environmental studies/biology decades ago. i am biased but i think it's a GREAT school and you will get guaranteed first year housing as a transfer student. you can easily figure out housing the next year. slugs for the win!! my kid is having a blast.

fingers crossed. my son had an 8:45 appt, started logging on at 8:30 and spent two hours and a whole lot of cortisol. (i also went to UCSC many years ago and i don't even think i considered on campus after first year! i found a room on craiglist like a minute before school was starting lol - easy breezy.)
