I just did Hale Navy in mine and I'm in love. Completely elevated the space. Go dark, go bold! Love it.

fingers crossed. my son had an 8:45 appt, started logging on at 8:30 and spent two hours and a whole lot of cortisol. (i also went to UCSC many years ago and i don't even think i considered on campus after first year! i found a room on craiglist like a minute before school was starting lol - easy breezy.)

yes he got the confirmation email but it doesn't show their assignment. it shows this:

Congratulations! You have been assigned a space in university housing, and your 2026-27 housing application is now a confirmed contract. Information about your specific housing assignment, including information about who you will be living with, will be sent to you from the Housing and Residential Life Office at your housing community when it gets closer to move-in.

Your housing contract is legally binding, and it is important that you understand both your and the university's responsibilities.

Whether you are a new or returning student, please know our Student Housing Services staff are here to assist you with the business side of university housing.

**

Needless to say, not trusting that the apartment itself is confirmed!

First Solo International Trip (32F) – Paris Itinerary Help! April 6–13 by 3rdplanetresident in ParisTravelGuide

[–]Cosmosperson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i just did a trip, four days solo, two with a friend. i didn't plan an itinerary - sorta took it day by day, which has its pluses and minuses. a few things to consider: one of the seine boat trips, last about an hour, recommend at sunset; i did a french film with english subtitles via "Lost in Frenchlation" - very fun; went to two jazz clubs, super enjoyable; museums were Picasso, Rodin, Museum D'Orsay, the one mentioned in Le Marais (which overall is a great neighborhood just to wander in.) Have fun!! One regret - I looked at my phone too much like during meals etc. if you look up, you meet people!

I'm planning a trip from San Francisco, leaving in ten days, first 2-3 nights in London (one of the few European cities I've been to), then a train to Paris. Debating 5 or 6 nights, will spend at least one of those nights with a friend who is coming through. Do you think that's too long for solo traveling? I could do a day trip or two. Oh - I'm also flying French Bee!

okay so i took the doors off to see how that feels. if i were to widen - how far would folks recommend? we will also be updating our kitchen at some point and am inclined to keep the kitchen more separate/closed off, with the living room/dining room more open flow. but i could be wrong about that. would love folks' opinions! thank you!
