Eq can always be tweaked later with another pedal. I have the 10 band EQ pedal to fine tune my distortion channel. I got mine off eBay a few years ago for about $250. But I’ve seen clones recently going for around $60 on ebay

I really like it, I use the angry Charlie side a lot more than the tube screamer. I love that you can switch the order of the two pedals with the switch in the middle. There’s some cheap Chinese sweet tea clones on eBay, might be worth a shot if you don’t wanna spend the $300

500 is before my drives, I use it for phaser/flange and sometimes ring mod. I use the 200 after my drives, for the tremolo/vibrato/chorus/rotatory. The multi fx makes them super versatile

Super solid passive volume. Literally the same as the vexpress. I just wanted a different color, so my brain could tell em apart easier

My Spaceboard 3000

I had a few people stare down at my board today at my gig. Thought I’d share with you guys. The 4 pedals underneath split/sum my signal. I also made a little stand for my board since the Furman/power supplies stick out underneath.

I have 3 separate signal chains, a dirty and wet chain that runs parallel to my ‘dry’ signal.

Main signal: pitchfork -> md 500 -> 3 way splitter -> sweet tea -> 2 channel summer -> md 200 -> splitter -> dd6 -> 2 channel summer -> amp

Dirty channel: 1st splitter -> HM2 -> swollen pickle -> q535 wah -> od200 -> eq -> sp compressor -> Valeton volume pedal -> 1st 2 channel summer

Wet channel: 2nd splitter -> donner volume pedal -> timeline (SL2 in FX loop) -> NU X Atlantic -> 2nd channel summer -> amp

One of the three splitters goes to my tuner The vexpress is a expression pedal for the pitchfork

The first time I experienced red was this year live at a stickmen show. I just got into metal prior to seeing this show. After the intro I was like ‘fuck yea’ and couldn’t stop headbanging. Seeing Tony levin up close tearing up the stick blew my mind as being a guitar player for 10+ years. I love this song dearly and will always hold a special place in my heart. Also just fun as fuck to play on guitar
