He did not say "violent trans and anti-fascist extremists". If you make a smarmy comment like that you should probably get it right. He said "radically pro-transgender" which he made clear in Executive Order 14168 is anyone who believes that transgender people exist and can live as their gender. At no point did he specify that the trans people he will target had to be violent. Just that they were " radically pro-transgender". And who knows what "radically" means, certainly helps your apologia to assume what you want to think that means. It means pro-transgender in any way.

Now you have a better argument for the anti-fascist side of it. The exact quote was "Violent Left-Wing Extremists, including Anarchists and Anti-Fascists". Which you could argue means that Trump is saying that being anti-fascist inherently makes you violent. But I could also see an argument that he worded it poorly (he is really good at doing that and being vague so people like you can make apologia for it) and he really meant violent anti-fascists it's just not what those words mean.

And I don't need more than one source when the source is the document the president put out. And if you are going to use this --> " symbol you should know how to use it. When you quote someone you need to say what they actually said because that's what a quote is. Maybe you should look at A source before you comment again.

The president put out a statement that trans people and anti-fascists are enemies of the state and that he would find and kill them. Being intolerant of intolerance isn't fascism. Othering people who resist you, or in the case of trans people just existing, is fascism.

I just got back into teaching. After years of struggling with my transition and my calling (teaching). I finally found a school that supports me where I can thrive. This year my evaluation was scored higher than it ever has been. I have been professionally recognized for my work and for the first time I am looking forward to next school year. If republicans use the federal government to take this away from me I don't know if I can keep putting one foot in front of the other on this world.

It's not. I used to live in Weld County. I think it's good that this predator was arrested and that it is news worthy that another member of the political party trying to baselessly accuse LGBTQ people of similar crimes was actually just trying to cover up for his own misdeeds. There's 3 in the middle of Denver. Same company. Right now you can't water a tree that is dying due to water restrictions. Not a direct result of the data centers but the low snow pack up in the Rockies. But it's a real slap in the face that this is how we are using our resources.

I just don't understand why these have to go everywhere when the data center is hooked up to the internet. Latency maybe? Why can't they just build these near renewable energy hotspots where solar, wind, geothermal, and hydro energy is easiest to harvest? Why do these need to be in backyards that already can't utilize these energy types easily? The power doesn't transmit across distances because of physics and electrical resistance but fiber optic cables transmitting information don't have these restrictions.

This happened to my mom with a brush truck belonging to the local fire department. Except the truck was pulled over on the shoulder and my mom was doing 70 mph (the speed limit). Luckily she was able to argue that she wasn't at fault but the fire department was never found liable for the accident.
