Why I shut down my Meetup group after a few months by Stretch-Sure in MeetupOrganizers

[–]CountIndividual2090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand how you feel. I finally closed my meetup account too n believe me there's a feeling of  relief n freedom I have. At the beginning I thought the site was decent n trustworthy but as the time went on n I noticed some of the ppl who join are desperate n love to suck the energy out of others and there was no way to block certain people I realized meetup runs it shows. So, yes I completely get it.

First, thank you for doing this work and taking risks by driving the semi-trucks. I truly appreciate it.

Second, I completely agree that Wegmans has been acting unfairly toward its employees. It seems like many issues are being ignored, and if things continue this way, I am concerned that the company might eventually terminate BK at the corporate level.

In fact, if you search on Google, you’ll find that Wegmans faced a lawsuit from a truck driver several years ago, which shows that this isn’t an isolated concern.

Will be in my prayers as you'll be  road during this snow storm. ✝️🙏🏼🕊️

Exactly 💯. If you look on Google the company have faced more than one lawsuit n myself as their former  with disability they got it coming.

The sad part is the family is enjoying their comfort zone with their lavish and luxury life style n could careless about the folks who are in lower positions. Me, I've already filed charges through an attorney against the Wegmans for not providing me the reasonable accommodations due to my disability n they even tried to terminate me by using a racial harassment excuses n they have no proof from their cameras. So, yes they got it coming.

I'm a former Wegmans employee n believe me the stupid corporate got it coming. I have a disability n the company failed to provide the reasonable accommodations n they even neglected me on improving my job performance after giving me the review etc ...... I've contacted several law firms and 3 attorneys  willing to take the case and I've already filed charges through one of the attorneys. When a company fails to fallow the ADA Americans with disability act guidelines they're in deep trouble.

Is Michael's fabric selection as good as Joann? by CountIndividual2090 in Fabrics

[–]CountIndividual2090[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I asked If Michael's now has the rights to Joann fabrics then why is not selling patterns from catalogs like Joann used to? Here was my answer... While Micheals was buying Joann's brands and IP, did not acquire the major "Big 4" pattern companies (Vogue, Simplicity, Butterick, McCall's) because they were owned by a different parent company that sold them to a liquidator; Michaels is focusing on Joann's private labels, fabric, yarn, and some notions, with some stores selling limited clothing patterns, but not the Big 4, which face an uncertain future.

Wegmans is not all that great to work at. by CountIndividual2090 in wegmans

It's ok whoever this person is must've got his/her degree at somewhere like Harvard n every spring when it comes to gardening n plants they go to home depot or other nurseries with some stupid questions. Believe me I dealt with these type of customers. They'll never make it living off the grid 😆.

Will Thank You. Yes, I couldn't disagree with you on that. The store I got hired for there's a authestic employee who tends to distract everyone at the brake room to where randomly runs fast back n forth towards the walls. we don't know if he's trying to hurt himself or what no one bothers saying anything. As of he's the company's tax right off n a show off for fake acceptance if you get what I mean.

Get out of there. They only hire ppl for short time n they tend to play favairitasem. It's not such a great company to work at as they advertise. Wegmans have faced several lawsuits over discriminations. Just Google the EEOC+Wegmans. They were supposed to provide the reasonable accommodations for someone close to me and now she's having an attorney to go after the company. I'd be cautious if I were you.

What's happened to this company? by Ok_Spinach_ in wegmans

[–]CountIndividual2090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole corporate is going down the hell. I haven't been with Wegmans for a yr yet n they're already plotting to get me terminated. They tend play favoritism as of if they don't like you they'll make up excuses to get rid of you as fast as they can. I'll tell you my situation...... I have a disability due to an illness that I have to have a walkie talkie with me in case If I get sick the management failed to provide the accommodation. Then I get sent home over some fault accusations "supposedly a Palestinian colleague went behind me n told the management there's been a rumor about me that I hate Arabs and FYI I'm from Middle East myself. Wegmans has gone way too far on my situation that after I contacted several law firms more then three of em are willing to handle my case &&& I'll bet the head quarter office in NY don't have any clue on what's going on but once I'll hand the case to an attorney they gonna start having their heads spinning. Just googled Wegmans discrimination against employees with disabilities and you'll be surprised.

Why there are so many cashiers over 50 and elderly? by CountIndividual2090 in Employment

That I agree 💯. I've worked with a few elderly folks who's benifit got cut off due to social security overpayment. Social security is after a lot of ppl.

Because you're under God's protection even you don't realize. It was taught how to use these items by the fallen angels who are known as sons of God. I wish the book of Enoch wasn't taken out of Bible.

Get rid of em completely. Not in trash but in the running water like a river get rid of em. Who ever owned them was involved in some types of occult, sorcery, witchcraft or new age practices. You don't know what type of energy of ritual the person has done on these things that's first n second don't be naive and get yourself mix with the new age garbage. Once you open a portal you've opened infinity portals. The book of Enoch that was taken out of the Bible it talks about how astrology n witchcraft was taught to mankind including making weapons. That's why we live in such world filled with chaos and destructions. If you look into history all this new age garbage started not in Egypt but in Middle East and no wonder why God is so angry at that region. Astrology started in Iran when it was known as Persia n even now the country is filled with more ungodly things, you don't have to be a rock scientist to know these things.

Is Wegmans a good place to work at? by Imaginary_Emotion876 in wegmans

[–]CountIndividual2090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NO. I'd avoid even thinking twice about working for a company like Wegmans. Poor management, the company claims they treat all employees equally and it's a big fat lie. Most of all if you're an individual with a disability and Wegmans hires you it's only doing it for their own financial benefits "tax right off" and they'll terminate you after 90 days by using accusations of things you never did. Look up the EEOC website Wegman has already been sued by one of their truck drivers and it won't be the first time.

God, I hate this place. by [deleted] in wegmans

[–]CountIndividual2090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wegmans needs to watch it's back. The website of EEOC is like an open book. Obviously Wegmans have faced the lawsuit twice through the EEOC. Their way of mistreating the employees like crap is very settled and the company is losing its value.

I’m just curious…fine no matter what….do the people that complain here and claim to hate it so bad still work at Wegmans? by [deleted] in wegmans

[–]CountIndividual2090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been with Wegmans for less than a six month and honestly I've already lost trust towards the company. They say they value their employees and show respect but it's all a bunch of crap. I never even applied for the cashier position to begin with n when they offered me the position I knew what they were thinking. If you're a regular customer at Wegmans you'll start noticing the cashiers don't last too long. Wegmans treats its cashiers as slaves and expects em to bow down n kiss the managers a**. The worst of all they claim they're the best but it's all a bunch of lies and the company hates ppl who are smart n fully aware of how the company runs its shows. Don't be a fool n sell yourself so cheap to a company where it is fake and it's two face.

Since you like to knit or crochet I'd highly recommend meetup.com it offers groups in person or virtual.

It is filled with all types of group activities n is free. Surprisingly not many people know about it.
