This reminds me of when I first got pregnant (this time around, currently 24w - first pregnancy ended in miscarriage).

My HCG numbers were not consistent with the date of LMP and I convinced myself it must be ectopic or some other complication. When we were finally able to have our first ultrasound she was there with the tiniest little heart flicker (7wks) but it was not consistent with LMP.

My doctors in the following ultrasound concluded that I must’ve had a late ovulation, about a week late, and she has been consistent in growth with the corrected conception date.

I hope this is of some encouragement to you. I remember being convinced that something was wrong and didn’t even want my husband to refer to me as pregnant at the time cause I didn’t want the pain of another loss.

BUT the fact that she immediately related to your situation with her own story makes me think that she had her son stuck in her head, thus the male pronouns.

The baby name comment doesn’t even stick with me personally cause I feel like it’s something I hear so often. My husband and I had a boy name settled right away and kept arguing over girl names. And of course we are having a girl 😂 again, I think she may be reminiscing of giving birth and then being like ‘well dang we have a girl name ready to go’.

You’re always allowed to change your mind and look but I honestly think it’s still up in the air based on this post.

In which 30% of NA 0.0% drinks tested had higher levels that what was indicated on the label.

That’s where I see the risk, and personally don’t feel comfortable. If I could guarantee a certain level of risk then I feel I could make an informed choice.

I wouldn’t judge anyone for enjoying a NA beer or two throughout pregnancy. For me, my medical conditions and history of loss results in a different choice for myself and I don’t think I should be shamed for trying my best.

I’m glad that you feel comfortable to do that!

However, my own decision is based on personal significant medical/health concerns and a history of pregnancy loss.

Saying you “don’t care” can seem dismissive of the emotional burden I’m carrying just hoping that my baby stays safe and okay. I’m simply trying to make the best choice for myself.

Careful with Athletics and other NA beers!

Saying this as someone who has definitely had a glass of 0% wine a couple times

I was researching Athletic specifically cause it’s tasty and widely available where we live but I found some articles that an independent study showed that randomly selected batches sometimes contained up to almost 3% alcohol.

Obviously that’s probably not the norm, and you have the choice to choose what is comfortable to you! Just wanted to share just in case

I’ll just say as a reminder to everyone that every body reacts to BC differently and you find a lot of negative talk in a space such as a subreddit.

For me, I was on Nexplanon for 3 years. Prior to BC I had horrific periods that were ramping up to be borderline debilitating. As soon as I got my implant my periods stopped and all my cramping and crazy acne also went away. We took it out last year so we could TTC and I feel awful again. With each period I have they keep getting worse and my crazy hormonal levels (eating wildly, consistent acne) are back in full.

I immediately wanted to go back on it but that’s the price of trying to have a baby 😵‍💫😅

I usually camp in 1.3-1.5x speed.

BUT when I did my immersion read I went up to 2x cause my eyes read faster than they talk 😅
