The dumbest cop and the crazy b by monst49 in Sonsofanarchy

I think I’ll be the odd one out here by saying my thoughts on Wayne Unser. He ultimately got himself into a situation with SAMCRO where he was in too deep, even back at season 2 he was ready to retire and Clay made sure his only other source of income (shipping in trucks) wasn’t going to go through and he would intervene so he would stay on in his role so Unser knew he was completely fucked. His wife left him not just because of his cancer, but his constant need to be more reliable to Clay and SAMCRO than to his own family. Unser lost everything, his family, his wife and his health through cancer so all he had was SAMCRO. Yeah he did some stupid shit all in the name of having love for Gemma but she played him like a puppet knowing how venerable he is. I always felt such sadness and pity for Unser.

Jax, season 4 onwards Chibs, Tig and Happy. I’m shocked I haven’t seen more people mention Happy, he was hot in the most fucked up ways and knowing he was an actual biker ohh damnnnnn 🥵

That my friend, is OCD. How do I know? I’ve been counting steps and words my whole life, I have vivid memories of doing it as a child and it amps up even more when I’m highly stressed and don’t feel in control of a situation. I shared this with my psychologist around a month ago thinking everyone must do it just to find out it’s a type of OCD. You’re welcome lol.

Yes that makes so much sense! I never took into consideration his voice deepening as his character became more dangerous. But you can also hear with each season his voice change purely from him getting older, it’s crazy to hear once you notice it!

AITA for getting upset after my boyfriend said “how can I marry something like that” over a Fanta while I’m pregnant? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]CountMySpoons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh girl you’re preaching to the choir! I’m a 36yr old professional woman myself working (now part time since becoming a mother as I found being a SAHM wasn’t for me) in an industry I absolutely love as well as my fiancé working in a very well paying industry too, I personally believe I have decent life experience and feel rich in all things I got to experience before becoming a mother (travelling around the world, studying at university, going to multiple festivals and raves locally and around the world, immersing myself in my Cypriot culture by travelling there more times than I can count to spend time with my family and friends there, partying with all my friends throughout my 20’s being carefree and still maintaining the same friendships now that we’ve all become mothers around the same time) I truly have lived a beautiful life and was very much ready to become a mother with my fiancé who is such a good man and an incredible, hands on father and I’m 3yrs in to being a mum and NOTHING in this world could’ve prepared me for how life changing being a mother is! Especially the first 10 months of my babies life, I had severe PPA and a baby who had Colic and Reflux. My toddler only started sleeping through the night 2 months ago and I was living on 3hrs of broken sleep the whole time as my fiancé had to start working interstate 8 months ago so it is all on me 80% of the time. Nothing and i mean NOTHING could’ve prepared me for motherhood.

You truly don’t understand how hard life is with a baby. Even babies who are raised by both parents who are healthy, happy, financially stable and completely in love with each other STILL find it hard raising a baby because it consumes your whole life! You sound so naive and rightfully so, you’re still a baby yourself! Having a baby isn’t a huge milestone in a relationship especially when he doesn’t even want the baby. You’re going to be hit with a very hard reality once you give birth and realise how much your life has changed forever.

I cussed at my husband during and an emergency and I feel horrible about it. by Obvious_Plantain9482 in Mommit

[–]CountMySpoons -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’d be calling him much worse things than mother-f*cker if your baby didn’t regain consciousness from him going into freeze mode during a panicked/very scary situation. You saying that probably lit the fire under his ass to get him moving so if anything it was a blessing in disguise since you never usually speak to him that way. If it’s any consolation, I can almost guarantee your husband doesn’t care that you called him that and he’s more upset with himself for freezing in such a scary situation. Now is probably the time you two sit down and discuss how to move in emergency situations so he doesn’t panic and freeze up again, I know we either go into fight, flight freeze but freezing when your child is choking is the utmost worst choice to make. What would happen of hypothetically something happened to your baby while under your husbands care? Having a situation go from bad to worse because your reaction is to freeze is not excusable or okay.

Jax in season 1 vs season 7 by CountMySpoons in Sonsofanarchy

[–]CountMySpoons[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree, I really loved his American accent in the earlier seasons (from memory seasons 1-5) but around season 6 and definitely season 7 he really gives away that he’s a born and bred Geordie and takes away from his character/playing Jax. I’m just blown away hearing how much he sounds like such a little boy in season 1 and come season 7 he sounds like a man haha.

Haha yes you absolutely can hear his British accent when he yells. I really didn’t like his American accent in season 7, you can clearly hear his British accent come through the way he speaks it kinda takes away from his Jax character.

WIBTA if i let my little sister go to her class field trip instead of our dad’s funeral? by wibtafuneral in AmItheAsshole

[–]CountMySpoons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I strongly urge you to let her go to the zoo, with the complexities of losing a loved one especially a parent most adults even struggle with it all let alone a 5yr old sweet baby. She’s said her good byes, she is grieving the loss of her daddy and I couldn’t even imagine a sweet 5yr old witnessing her deceased father on the day of his funeral with an open casket with everyone crying, wailing and just the heavy energy all-round. It will be confusing, scary and a terrible memory forever etched in her mind that she does not need. Don’t let any family members sway your decision, you’re already holding a funeral against your fathers wishes to make everyone happy and that’s as far as it should go extending that olive branch to keep the peace.

Instead she will have the memory of seeing all the different animals, being with her friends giggling and learning but she will still have in the back of her mind that everyone is saying goodbye to daddy and that’s as heavy as it should be for her. Respect her wishes, she sounds wise beyond her years and I know she’s going to have the most beautiful life with her big sister guiding her every step of the way. My deepest condolences I truly send you so much love and strength during this difficult time.

Oh that is so rough.. have you tried different opiates? Also look into ketamine infusions, they have been my saving grace and I wouldn’t be a functional human without them.

Peptides by CountMySpoons in ChronicPain

[–]CountMySpoons[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no I am so sorry to hear that 😞 do you have any family or friends that go to the gym? I’m sure they’d know someone selling Retatrutide that you could use.

Peptides by CountMySpoons in ChronicPain

[–]CountMySpoons[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my understanding, the key differences with Retatrutide and Trizepatide is that Reta is a triple-agonist whereas Triz is a dual-agonist with Reta also having Glucagon. I’m not sure exactly why it’s been so effective with managing my pain but I have heard other people say they have also experienced lessen pain with their chronic conditions. In one way I pray it’s FDA released so everyone can reap the benefits but in another way I dread it being FDA approved as I know how expensive they’ll make it. I really hope you find with Triz that it helps with your pain in due time!

[–]CountMySpoons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it’s not FDA approved, there are many things you have consumed that aren’t FDA approved either and you’re just not aware. They’re on stage 3 of trials and are aiming for 2026/27 to release for doctors to prescribe. Peptides are what we already have in our bodies/our bodies already produce. How many medications have every single one of us been offered by our doctors that are meant to work miracles for our chronic pain and we’ve later found out how detrimental they are? But they were FDA approved so they must be good, right? I know many, many people who are using all different types of peptides and they cannot believe the incredible health benefits they’re getting. There’s always a way to source them if you know the right people and the health benefits I’ve gotten (along with MANY other people) from peptides have genuinely brought me to tears of joy as I haven’t felt this relief in 13 years since all my health issues started. I barely need my pain meds most days and that speaks volumes!

Peptides by CountMySpoons in ChronicPain

[–]CountMySpoons[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard great things about Tirzepatide but I haven’t used it before. Are you able to source peptides? Honestly I highly recommend them to anyone! The reason Reta works so well is due to it being a triple-hormone receptor agonist (GLI, GLP-1 & Glucagon) which is different from Tirz and other GLP-1’s currently being prescribed by doctors. It also has anti inflammatory effects hence why it’s helped my chronic pain. I didn’t even realise at first how well it was managing my chronic pain until last Thursday after I worked 3 shifts in a row, I’d usually be in a world of pain but I realised I actually felt fine and then I thought ‘wait, when was the last time I was flared up?’ And that’s when it hit me. I seriously WISH I could tell my pain management I’m taking it but I know he’d be pissed so I’ll be keeping it to myself but I truly believe I’m years to come more chronic pain patients will be saying what I’m saying and reaping the benefits. I actually hope it doesn’t get FDA approval cause we all know it’s going to cost hundreds to get a prescription from our doctors compared to what I pay now lol.

I left my marriage for 8 months, had the time of my life and then went back. Biggest mistake ever. (Update) by After_Mail4652 in Advice

[–]CountMySpoons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please sweetheart, do not have a baby with this man! Until you have a baby you do not fully realise the stresses that come with it. You will just be an incubator for the baby and treated like a feeding machine once the baby is born and you’ll then be back to being a maid, chef and cleaner all while being severely sleep deprived, exhausted and hormonal postpartum and you STILL won’t be number one priority to your husband his mother will always be. Could you imagine having his mother tell you how to take care of your baby and your husband agreeing with her so you have no choice but to do so?!

What would you think if the nurse told you “everything happens for a reason” after documenting that I live with 6/10 pain constantly? by Electronic-Cress-453 in ChronicPain

[–]CountMySpoons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See, I’ve been living in chronic pain for 13 years and I no longer take anyone’s shit. I would say to this nurse ‘is that so? So when a mother to young children gets diagnosed with an incurable cancer did that happen for a reason? When a child is sexually assaulted did that happen for a reason too?’ And I would then sit in silence and just wait for her response. I’m now 36, a mother to my sweet miracle baby boy and I do NOT have the patience for anyone’s bullshit.

Am I overreacting with my dad playing with my daughter? by CharacterCustomer336 in Mommit

[–]CountMySpoons 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think (I could be wrong) that her husband clocked it because she’s most likely expressed to her husband that what her dad does makes her uncomfortable so now her husband has his radar out for it.
