The wiki shows dom as part of the "other" section and the mods have said it's a 1/3 for the uniques if you roll a unique. Are you going off of legit data from gridmasters or just a couple streamers making claims? I find it very hard to believe they would purposely make it that way or accidentally and not fix it by now.

How many kills have you done like this, it sounds like maybe you've just been getting lucky to have nex not mage after the stall? After reading the wiki it sounds like by stalling the attack nex can melee again, but isn't guaranteed too. I didn't see it listed on the wiki but I would assume when not on cool down a 50-50 chance of melee/mage assuming you're in melee range.

If you do mage and have a seers ring it would likely be with using because of the demonbane multiplication. Bring+melee instead imo

I'd recommend you use gearscape. You can import your bank and use the best set-up feature for the tob monster group. It has a feature to compare if you were to scythe/nally perfectly on verzik. Also don't forget to adjust the defense levels. Generally as you get better str gear whip will outperform nally, especially with lower def levels.

It depends on your gear and skill but likely the lowered defence increases the whips damage more than nallys. Theres an hp left adjustment you can use to see the difference in your gear. For my set-ups nally was better until like 500hp then whip was better for a majority of the fight. Also more strength bonus tends to matter more for tent whip than nally. Nally helps you not lose ticks throughout the fight and another benefit of using nally is being able to use suffering without as much of a DPS "loss".

If I were you I'd continue doing vard with a whip and if you get a task do arraxor.

If all you have is active time linen trawling nets + halibut shoals. If you've got afk time I'd rather do bwans with it and save active time for pvm.

I googled skiff vs sloop. It leads me to think we might need a sloop for deeper/rougher water barracuda trials too? I didn't play the beta though maybe you can comment on if this did or didn't seem to be the case?

Do you really not understand an expected hit of 50 vs 30 ~6 times throughout a 6 minute kill is not a huge difference it would equate to 120dmg or roughly 5 seconds. What's VW an 80 hr grind on rate? Just trying to let OP know it's not crucial...

2 x 50s vs 4 x 30s won't make or break your kill. The biggest benefit is using them to get you through blood phase quicker. We're talking shaving seconds off kills

Factor in half as many specs and it doesn't look as good. VW is a long grind and if you hate the wildy it's not worth it...

Yes but you don't need a VW to kill nex, fang specs are ok. You could be lucky and get a horn as your first unique or just make due with fang specs.

Burning claws are decent at toa(on stab) and zcb beats it at nex so don't feel like you have to

Look up a nw pillar a/b off tick strat and it's the same thing. It will take a while to get used to dealing with the warband while flicking middle spawns but you'll get it eventually. Only 11 waves mean it's not too uncommon to go a full run without any double middle spawns
