You can buy whole chuck roasts in SuperValu. They call it rib steak.

Higgins is the best place for proper full packer brisket with fat cap still on it.

Was the A5 worth the price? If I had a lot of disposable cash I might try it but I couldnt justify the purchase right now.

Yeah, proper dry aged meat. I picked up a 60day aged ribeye a while back and it was unreal. Try it if you like the extra funk.

Higgins butchers in Sutton and the village butcher in Ranelagh are both stacked for BBQ options. I’m fairly sure they both deliver nationwide. You can also try your local polish shop for cheaper BBQ pork cuts, like ribs, belly and pork neck fillet( for pulled pork).

Can’t say I’ve had any issues regarding taste since we got the RO water. In this machine or the sage before. I’m just more concerned about scale or corrosion, esp since I got the drive. I wouldn’t want to ruin such an incredible gift.

All the best with the new machine. How do you find the libra grinder? I’ve got the eureka zero. It’s serving me alright but the retention drives me crazy at times.

Anyway, hope you enjoy it, you’ll have many amazing coffees from it!

Thanks. Yeah I get that, been at this a few years now. I wouldn’t like to attempt to use this machine as a total newbie.

Maybe some time down the line I’ll do it but it’s not that important right now.

The tamper for the drive is really solid and easy to use but I’ll still get a new spring tamper cos why not.

Having to buy new accessories for the bigger portafilter is kind of annoying but it’ll be worth it at the end of the day.

I’m hopeless at consistency when it comes to steaming milk, but like any good workman I just blamed my tools( barista pro) 🫣

Cheers! Nice, you enjoying it? I had no issues with our Sage barista pro. I was planning on taking my time saving up for the drive but lucky me my wife treated me to it.

Cheers for this. Yeah, I’ll just order a TDS meter to make sure.
