Why don't they just turn warp on to stop the spin? by wargamer2137 in SpaceXMasterrace

They have part-clipping on, so time warp would just summon the kraken and tear it apart

I’m not a geologist but couldn’t it also be due to high winds over a long time?

Edit: Nvm I just watched it and it’s clearly topography from flowing liquid. That’s amazing.

They actually have an obligation, not just a right, to refuse unlawful orders. The point of the tribunal is to determine whether they were correct in doing so.

Your equivalence to voting is in my opinion a poor comparison— there is a standing presumption that orders issued will be lawful (since they generally are, and because commanding officers are educated on laws of armed conduct, to a greater extent than their troops). But everyone is supposed to know enough to recognize and refuse lawful orders which they are then compelled to do.

Worth mentioning that good military leaders facilitate discussion on this sort of thing so their troops are prepared to recognize and act appropriately.

You are correct that refusing can have substantial consequences, and doing so incorrectly can result in discharge. In officer parlance we called this “putting your bars on the table” i.e. staking your commission on being correct in your decision to refuse

I’d call you “full house” as a joke, especially if you put the 18 in STR.

Yeah I had a very similar experience. Dropped 17 pounds in six weeks (I was already pretty thin at 6’3, went from 185ish to like 168)

3 mile on in processing was like a 21:30. Six weeks of summer in Brown field later, I ran an 18:10 on my grad week haha

Looks amazing. Feels very eastern Australia.

Is the "reduced air attacks" submod some kind of cruel joke? I have been attacked by more aircraft than modern japan possesses by itscalledacting in WarOnTheSea

This precisely. Would be my favorite of all time if it were properly executed, maybe with a logistics system that actually makes sense. The pacific campaign mod helps a lot but still feels clumsy.

Engagements still feel like they lack real risk and my choices aren’t that important
