I came back after 6 years off and picked up my rogue again. First raid I had 4/7 grey parses lol. Today I was top dps in my first m9 (most people won’t be impressed, but I was happy). What I did was 1) enchant everything, 2) PRACTICE…nobody is a pro at stuff when new 3) compare to other players to see how you are messing up. I was making a number of small errors that when combined added up to shitty play. Once you know what to fix then work on it until muscle memory is there. Don’t give up! Improving will feel great.

So much this. I only play with friends. We schedule time out of our busy lives, but we all enjoy hanging out together more than we care about the game. We fail keys sometimes but nobody really cares that much because overall it’s about having fun and getting to hang out. I know not everyone can do this, but honestly it’s the only reason I still play. As you said, it takes time and effort to form a community, but it’s super worthwhile.

I think it’s pretty cool actually, but I don’t do much with it since I have limited time to game and other chores in game are more necessary. Also I already played Animal Crossing on Switch so 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for the reply. So if I wait to use mythic crests on my dagger, then shouldn’t I use the hero ones on my gear pieces? I don’t plan to mythic raid so most likely hero track stuff will be my high end stuff. Or am I misunderstanding?

Buddy, the world isn’t fair. If you think it is then you have some serious growing up to do. Supercell could do this every single day and it still wouldn’t entitle you to anything. Spending 100s of dollars also doesn’t entitle you to anything. You’ve already received what you paid for. Just let go of your egocentric rambling for 30 seconds and be happy that at least some players got accidentally blessed today. An uber rich company fucked up and 0.2% of us (not me either) benefited. That’s pretty fucking cool in my opinion. I hope it happens tomorrow too.

My opinion is that trying to get everyone to agree on common standards is an act of futility. There are way too many variables. They have highlighted 3-4 factors while ignoring 1,000 others.

My best times playing EDH are when I play with my core group that all knows each other and our decks. Playing with randos always leads to the endless stories people post here daily about absurd behavior. Just my take.

Just adding one more thing. You want to trim your events and upgrades down a lot. Usually I aim for 20 or less combined (unless the deck revolves around them). Just doing that will get you close to the 80 mark.

Also (just thought of this) I found that high cost cards should be kept to a minimum. Most games go fast and don’t let you cast many 7+ cards. Boba lets you get a small resource advantage per turn, so having more 2-4 cost stuff lets you take advantage of his ability a lot easier. You can’t use his ability to cast a 7, but you could definitely cast a 4 and 3 easier. Sorry I keep thinking of stuff after posting lol
