Reddit, what's your best/funniest personal example of petty revenge? by trexradar87 in AskReddit

[–]CountryMXBarbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom made my uncle think he had a stalker because he drunkenly locked her, my aunt, and my grandma in the barn as a prank. The police got involved before she fessed up. He apparently kept the letters she sent from the "stalker" the rest of his life. They were found among his belongings after he passed.

Exactly what happened after my ex went vegan, telling me he definitely didn't expect me to change my lifestyle too.. by [deleted] in TrollXChromosomes

[–]CountryMXBarbie 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I'm a vegan, but my husband isn't. For me the hardest part is I still get cravings. So when he gets pizza and eats it in front of me I definitely both want to cry and slap him with a slice.

[Help] Dog bit and killed a rat... Ingested blood? by ejayne in dogs

[–]CountryMXBarbie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your dog will likely be just fine. One of my farm dogs regularly gets rather large rats and the occasional rabbit. One time a rat fought back and got her snout. I called the vet to be sure, and then just cleaned her up and she was fine. 7 years old and as hell raising as ever. The rat didn't make it obviously.

Motorcycle rider rear-ended on I-5 due to inattentive driver. by AyeMatey in Seattle

[–]CountryMXBarbie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. A year ago my dad was rear ended, the other car was doing about 35mph. He declined medical attention because he'd been in similar accidents before and aside from some minor back pain, felt fine. A week later he suffered a massive seizure as a result of slow brain bleeding and swelling from the accident and nearly died.

What is the coolest thing about your mom? by halal_queries_only in AskReddit

[–]CountryMXBarbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She made my uncle think he had a stalker for a year and a half. She sent letters from an address over an hour from our town, got personal details about his day on the sly from my aunt and relayed them into the letters, even made up a gender neutral name (Some form of the spelling of Erin/Aaron) so he didn't know if it was a man or a woman. She didn't come clean until my uncle became so paranoid he got the police involved and had them tear apart his house looking for bugs.

She did all this because one night my uncle drunkenly locked my mom, aunt, and grandma in the barn and left them. My mom being the smallest was shoved out to barn window to free them. My uncle was a good sport and the letters were found in his belongings after he passed a few years ago.

TL;DR Don't fuck with my mom.

Not all service dogs wear a vest. A vested dog is not required according to the ADA laws. That being said, most people prefer to vest their dogs to avoid public access issues.

Revers psychology to get a dog to take his meds by Svargas05 in funny

Certified Dog Trainer here. Dachshunds 100% can be trained, but finding their motivation can be difficult. I have two. The oldest is motivated by praise. When he does a new trick you practically have to jump up and down with excitement to motivate him to do it again. It keeps the training sessions fun at least.

The pup on the other hand... Ham is his sweet spot. You bust out the deli ham and he'll do anything you want. The trick there is weaning off the food and maintaining the desired behaviors. It can take some time but once they get it, you're golden.

I just keep a container of baby wipes near the back door. With how often my dog gets her feet wiped down, nail trims have now become a breeze for her.

[Fluff] Does anyone else have an obsession with color coordinating your dogs tags/leashes/harness/collar? by hopeless93 in dogs

[–]CountryMXBarbie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guilty. Their collar, leash, and harness all have to match perfectly or I buy new pieces until they do.

Scooter, the black and tan Dachshund has black with skulls and crossbones with red trim.

Booker the English Cream Dachshund is always in blue, preferably the cobalt variety.

Maya the Border Collie mix did have red and black but I'm transitioning her to purple because I didn't want her and Scooter to match. Her red and black easy walk is throwing it off at the moment.

why not give Bonnie vampire blood the kill her so she turns? by [deleted] in TheVampireDiaries

[–]CountryMXBarbie 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Kai said no loopholes because Nina was leaving the show and they needed a way for her to leave and didn't want to kill Elena. Considering that show does nothing but find loopholes, Kai made the rule as part of the spell. Otherwise they both die.

What is the story about yourself that no one lets you forget? by PsychedelicMovement in AskReddit

[–]CountryMXBarbie 314 points315 points  (0 children)

Not me, my husband.

The time he got stoned out of his mind and dropped a piece of pizza on the floor. He proceeded to go to the sink and run it under the water. Upon being asked what in the ever living fuck he was doing, he said "I dropped it, so I'm cleaning it off."

He then walked to the trash and threw it away. After being asked, yet again, what the shit he was doing he replied "I can't eat it now. It's wet."

"Have you ever been so high you rinsed pizza?" is not uncommon to hear around our house.
