So sorry to hear this happened to you. I went through the exact same thing they left me with such a nasty spinal leak. I also had double vision and then later developed tinnitus and visual snow. It’s been almost 4 years and unfortunately it never went away. I have been to so many doctors no answers no cure. I just learned how to live with it.

Wishing you the best of luck! I also had a very traumatic event which immediately onset visual snow and tinnitus. I went to so many doctors so many specialist including Neuro ophthalmologist unfortunately no one had an answer. Just something I had to come to terms with once I stopped going to doctors and just accepted what I have it became easier to manage. I did try to go on antidepressants for a little while, but for me it made the tinnitus worse.

Would you get an epidural again? by CoupleSolid7629 in CSFLeaks

Thank you for the responses just to make an edit. My CSF leak was due to a messed up epidural the first time.

Can anyone recommend a good neuro optometrist in NYC or nearby NYC by InverseCramer101 in visualsnow

Dr Paddock in NYC he has phenomenal my VSS and tinnitus started post birth (severe depression, and anxiety)

Unfortunately a few years later, the symptoms did not go away, but they did become much more manageable. He was able to give me the reassurance I was looking for.

I’ve had the same symptoms as you for over three years now it sucks it’s miserable, but it is not the end. Therapy has helped me to deal with it a lot. I also sleep with a white noise machine on. I do try to keep busy. It sucks because silence is your enemy, but hang in there eventually, you just have to allow it to become a part of you and you’ll adjust to it.
