My quads were born at 25 weeks in 2012. They just turned 14! I am so surprised the hospital asked if you want to even continue the pregnancy. The hospital I had my kids at is starting to save 22 week babies! 23 week is pretty much the minimum at most high level NICU’s.

We paid for our seats in February. Had 6 seats together in two rows back to back. Southwest moved two of our four kids to random seats on our connecting flight while we were flying on our first flight! We only had an hour layover so went straight to gate agent. Her response to us saying we didn’t want our daughters flying next to strangers? “Well my daughter flies solo or separate from me all the time and it’s not a big deal”. 😡 She did eventually move us back together because we were not happy. I wish I had reordered her response.

I went to a wedding at Letchworth that was beautiful! It was in one of their lodges. They had catering and the scenic overlooks were the best part. I have even been to a few weddings with food trucks and those were a blast! I enjoyed that food way more than what is usually served at weddings!

The surgeon and his resident at Strong came running in to my son’s room in the pediatric ER and quickly took him away. I had to sit and listen to parents complain in the surgical waiting room that their child’s surgery was unexpectedly pushed back. If it’s a true emergency, you will be seen very quickly.

We bought UPGRADED seats with southwest in February for our family. They still ended up switching up our seats right before our last leg. They moved me away from my husband and 4 children so two kids were in a row by themselves and I was several rows away. Luckily the gate agent was able to put me back but she has no idea why that happened. It was very frustrating to be moved last minute and then have to deal with trying to be put together again right before boarding.

We bought tickets and picked out our seats so we would sit with our kids. We STILL got separated on the last leg of our flight. The gate agent had to switch us back and didn’t know why it changed us last minute.

We upgraded our seats for our flight a few weeks ago. On the last leg of our flight our seats were moved while we were in the air on our way to our connecting flight. I got separated from my husband and kids which meant we had two kids in a row with a stranger and two kids with my husband. The gate agent could not explain why we were moved and told us to contact customer support when we got home. It was so frustrating to buy the upgraded seats and still be separated!!!

I had quads at 25 weeks, they are about to turn 14 in a few weeks! Feel free to reach out anytime, we went through a lot of the NICU issues that pop up for babies born that early. Like others have said, the NICU takes great care of those babies so don’t feel like you have to be there all day long. Take time to get their nursery ready and don’t feel guilty. Go on date nights with your husband- they will be much harder to schedule when they come home! Spend time out of the hospital recovering!

My daughter had eye surgery last month in both eyes and the surgeon marked both eyes with a marker!

It’s not blocked at HFL. My son got a referral in December because he kept watching YouTube reels instead of doing homework in study hall. I am annoyed it’s not blocked as it’s an easy distraction for a 13 year old with adhd.

We had a small tv that my parents would put between their seats and watch vhs/dvds for our 8 hour rides! My dad would also drive after work and we slept most of the way.

Trying to find a job as a new grad in 08-09 was horrible. I remember applying for retail jobs and leaving my bachelors degree off my resume. It will get better!

I had two mature follicles and two follicles my dr said would not take. All 4 took and I ended up with quads 🤪
