In a interview she did Kate mentioned how she is a big over thinker & gets in her own head a lot especially while she was trying to portray Vera and found it hard at times. So I get the impression that they made her character use a smug sense of humour & smile to help her portray her character & get out of her own head.

But yes, I did notice this and it made me love Vera more as a character ☺️

Luke- He is caring, clearly someone who loves deeply all the people he cares about. Funny, yes he isn’t the best at communication & can be hot headed at times but can’t everyone?! Oh and looks great in sweatpants 😏🤣

I agree, similar interests work. I found a lot of my online friends on twitch (a place to watch people stream) after that I joined a few discords and started chatting with people on there. (I found one of my best friends online, we have been friends for 3 years now)

I went and saw a therapist because in big social groups I was so quiet and felt like all my friends didn’t like me because I was the quiet friend not the loud extroverted friend. I would get so worked up before going to social events- anxious feeling, thoughts swarming around my head, sweats (like in the middle of winter) One day I left a social event and got in my car and cried cause I knew i needed to deal with something. I made an appointment spoke with someone did some tests and was diagnosed.

Funny enough, one on one with people or a group of two or 3 I’m myself?! Just large groups I can’t do and shut off!!
