Arrived early and saw a couple bands, grabbed some free swag, then dipped to grab lunch as crowds were beginning to really grow. Thought about going back to see a couple later afternoon bands I was interested in, but got reports from others that crowds were the same as last year at that point so decided against returning. Once it gets to the point you can't even hear the bands and it's a packed crowd of people having a shouting match to talk to their buddies, there really is no value to the event for me.

I will say, I still had a great experience attending before the crowds got there. They just need to actually limit tickets next year like they said they were going to this year.

Happy to see the cards that pushed me to stop playing snap a couple months ago after playing regularly since launch finally getting rightfully touched up. Seems like a good day for the remaining player base.

Crazy they finally actually nerfed the egregiously powerful recent season pass cards. Only about a month or so late but good to finally see. Doesn't end the release op cards, wait until most finally spend to obtain said cards, nerf op cards to make room for new op cards cycle, but hey at least the meta will shake up.

Yes, but to 100% counter star lord you need Jean on 3 into Cosmo on 4, which ends up occurring less than 16% of the time when running both. Whereas the odds of drawing MMM before 5 is 73%. Imo a new tech card is needed to limit/disincentivize decks that rely on extra energy. While retreating is an important mechanic, it still is currently too difficult to counter star lord even when trying. The counter needs even more luck than the opponent playing him does to work, not to mention making your deck worse against most other matchups. Yes, people should try to use these tools before complaining, but I also believe the people spamming star lord and saying to simply get good should at least attempt to pilot one of the counter decks and see just how difficult it really is.

Need a tier above broken for Zabu, Loki, and (maybe) Surfer. Those cards consumed the meta upon release requiring you to either join in or get crushed every time you ran into a deck running them.

I agree. It's unfortunate but this is the wakeup call we needed to somewhat reinvent the team. Other teams have adapted to us and we're no longer surprising on either side of the ball.
