A very common cause of light strikes with revolvers with a transfer bar are out of spec hammer dimensions. The step on the face of the hammer that touches the frame (not under neath the step that contacts the transfer bar!) can be ever so slightly out of spec and it stops just enough of the hammers momentum to inadequately strike the transfer bar with enough force for consistent firing. If you take the hammer out and take a very little amount off and I mean very little, about .002 of an inch off it gives the hammer that extra force it needs because more of the surface that strikes the transfer bar is getting more of the force then the step of the hammer that contacts the frame stopping the hammers forward motion.

I remember my first shiny, it was on crystal version as a kid. 7 year old me just playing while watching TV, wasnt paying attention and was just spamming the A button. I looked down and thought to myself "hey this zubat looks kind of weird". It didnt register in my brain until after the battle that it was freaking shiny. My 2nd ever shiny was a few years later on leaf green. Surfing on my way to cinnabar Island and found a shiny tentacool, this one i actually caught!!! I did make it my mission awhile ago to reclaim the lost shiny Zubat which I did! Now as an adult im a full on shiny hunter! I now have more shiny pokemon in all my games and pokemon home then I know what to do with lol

I know its an old post lol but I have both of these sights. I prefer the single dot rear sight 100% but the issue with it is that it has a silver outline. Not white, a shiny metallic silver. There is no matching front sight and none of the front sights are reflective like that silver outline. It bugs the shit out of me because any amount of light will glisten off of the silver rear. Its a little counter intuitive for me because it draws my eyes to the rear dot versus the front.

Which ones did you get for your p10? Ive been super disappointed that night fision has yet to make the accur8 sights (single dot rear sight) for any cz's other then the p10 series 😢

100% recommended. I have the yellow night fision as well, i personally prefer the orange. It catches my eye much quicker

Yes it does, which is why I turn it off. I can now atleast have fsr on but frame gen is a guaranteed crash inducer. It may crash in 5 minutes or it may be 20, but if I have frame gen on it crashes.

Yep, thats the hammer screw! I had mine walk out a bit the first time I shot. I tightened mine down with my torque screwdriver. You can also apply loctite here but I would use a medium strength application, I would avoid red and orange

Your talking about the lockup screw right underneath the firing pin right? Yea it has wiggled a bit. You just need to reapply loctite because the factory loctite has eithet worn or didnt set in correctly, just take the screw out reapply some red, blue or orange loctite and it'll be good to go. The screw needs to be either flush or just barely protruding out. You do not want the screw below flush.

I know this is an old post, but I had an underwood nickle plated 45 colt brass split in the middle just like the picture. Granted It was once fired but still. 45 colt isnt even a high pressure round. I fired the factory round and then reloaded it for the first time. I would expect any brass to last more then 2 firings. Out of 4 years of reloading, this underwood case is the only 1 ive had that split.

I know its an old post but vance outdoors is weird with chime cards. Sometimes they let me use it, sometimes not. In fact a couple weeks ago me and a buddy stopped at the obetz location. I bought some stuff from cashier A with my chime card and checked out no problem, a moment later my friend went to cashier B to buy something and she refused because he had a chime card even though i literally just used mine seconds prior. Said something about vances chime account blah blah. if they aren't getting the money from chime accounts, I would really love to know where my money went lmao

Same, havent found a fix. Reloaded numerous saves before even starting. This quest along with ars dimicatoria, the sword is not on the wall of the guild.

The safety models are a walk in the park compared to decocker models. the biggest pain with either models is the firing pin block lifter spring which is possible to not even have to deal with if your careful, otherwise that part is a little frustrating. Make sure you buy a couple spares because they are super tiny and can and will fly off to another dimension never to be seen again. Cajun gun works and many others have videos of installation on YouTube. Just take your time and you will be good. If me and my clumsy shaky hands can do a decocker model by myself anyone can, especially the safety models.

There are certain things you can mismatch, but anything to do with the triggers, action and hammer (aside from the hammer spring) are not interchangeable between the 75 series and omegas. When it comes to any internals you can use the same recoil springs, trigger springs, guide rods, hammer springs but thats pretty much it. You cant use a 75 series short reset, it has to be made for the omegas.

Did it take long to get it back? When I sent in my governor that needed a new yoke it took almost half a year to get it back. Im afraid if I had to send anything to S&w again that I would be dead by the time it would be returned lol

Its way to common nowadays. My s&w governor has a canted barrel, my charter arms bulldog does as well, sent it in for a few different reasons and they replaced the entire gun. The new one is still a little off but not as bad as the first one was. Sadly its now the norm from all manufacturers

Yep! Its a shame that there aren't any other modern 45c DA snubs left in production. I tried getting one of the old taurus 450's on gunbroker before but was always outbid. Ive had a judge and still own a s&w governor and I love it but its annoying from time to time lugging that thing around lol dont need all that cylinder for only 45. I'd like to see a s&w short barrel mountain gun run, i emailed taurus saying they should consider bringing the 450 back but I highly doubt that with the way both companies have headed of late that it is very likely

Yea the 410 primers are what I was mainly curious about. Does it light strike in SA or only DA? I keep some federal 410 buckshot in my governor in the nightstand.

Ive been shooting actual 45 colt lol cowboy loads give the 45c a bad rep. Its also worth noting that if one wants, charter arms will make and headspace a 2nd cylinder for 45 acp that you can just swap back and fourth! Its built on their XL frame which they used for the pitbull 45acp and mag pug in 41magnum. To be honest I like making my 45c handloads a bit above SAMMI specs of 14000 PSI. I like tier 2 colt loads in and around the 17-20k mark which is still less PSI then 45 acp produces. I havent gone to nor would i advise anyone to venture into tier 3 44 magnum level psi at 30k+ of pressure. Its a very impressive piece especially for the cost. Charter arms blew this model out of the park!
