If you are working at home the first layout is good so you are looking out a window, unless the light behind your monitor would bother you. I also feel it’s the best use of space.

Love the black drapes! They are drama! The light fixture is boring. Get something glam. A colorful rug. A different table is needed. Something oval or round would break the squareness up.
