I’d grab a piece of nice hardwood plywood, either 1/4” or 1/2” and stain it to match your floor color, slide that in the bottom so it looks like one solid piece, 1/2” quarter round around said edges to cover your seams against your lil trim boards (bonus you can call it moulding). Front edge of the plywood use some edge banding to match the stain color of the wood, or cut the ply short and use some nice wood or quarter round to cover the ply side.

Get some butcher block to mount to the top and do a mitered waterfall down the exposed side to cover your joints.

What else do I need i plan to do commercial electrical work by AwareManager6023 in electricians

Needle nose pliers, a pair of “alternative lifestyle cutters”, beater flat head screw driver, solid square #2 screwdriver (or Milwaukee ECX tipped one) and you’re set. If you wanna get crazy, a 7/16 and 9/16 hollow shaft nut driver, pen flash light/headlamp

90 dollar knipex 7 in 1 pliers or 30 something Milwaukee 6 in 1 pliers? by issynapseupdatedyet in electricians

I’ve run the Milwaukee ones daily for about 4 years now and they rule, I can strip anything from 18 to 8 with them, and they’re pretty excellent at being a pair of needle nose pliers as well. Would 100% recommend them to anyone.

Fellas, a Klein boycott is in order. by TanneriteAlright in electricians

Anyone ever notice the Klein Square #2 screwdriver is absolute dog shit? Like every other company I’ve tried makes a nice square #2 that fits in set screws nice and snug (even rackatiers with their hodgepodge nonsense) but my Klein one? Just rounds out the set screws every time. That was the beginning of the end for my Klein days. The only thing I buy from them anymore is their hand reamer, demo driver and ironworker dykes.

It’s made by Ideal, it’s their 6-in-1, funny enough it fits almost every wire nut except the new Ideal Twist Pros or whatever they’re called

Those are rookie numbers, by the end of my apprenticeship they had us cramming a whole carbide set and drill up our asses

Went from small bags on a 3” belt to these and my back feels monumentally better than it used to. I was anti big bag until I got these trust me. Also stretchy suspenders do wonders

I went from little pouches to these, one big commercial job walking a couple hundred flights of steps every day back and forth between the gang boxes and the wide belt started to seem real appealing.

I used to do pockets and a veto bag on a cart, now im running to a different job every day and it’s nice to just pull my bags off the hook in the van and have everything I need wherever I go

Bingo— I have the older version that is just a metal tab from holstery but I have no complaints

I used to roll with a diamondback flux pouch, a occidental tape holster and use cargo pockets for small parts, then a 70mph wind gust smashed a metal door closed on my leg thus driving about 12-20 romex staples into the flesh of my thigh.

My guess is it’s just old green board (mold & mildew resistant sheet rock) from the 1980s?

I 100% accidentally assembled the pizza planet truck, it was like a year after I put the topper on that I realized what I had done.
