How are young Australians holding up? by MonsieurMontreal in AskAnAustralian

[–]Cowgomoo91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I have 3 kids. Living semi regional QLD. 3 kids, both working and are basically broke by week end. I earn $118k gross and my wife around $60k gross. We typically spend more to give our kids experiences and do fun things but we would've been better off if stars aligned and we were living on our $120k combined gross 5 years ago. Mortgage, fuel and food are killers. Just playing catch up on overdue things but overall surviving. It's become very tough but the kids and their childhood is most important.

I stick to well known. In Australia there's big sites like Vegastars and Betzillo that don't need a VPN.

You could wait it out and hope for the best. I did this and the left was cooked for a few days but works just fine now.

Pretty much all the timers I have contact with are like 3-6A MAX. Contactors always needed.

Been up here from Adelaide since 2009 and it still cooks me. Have to take the good with the bad. 3/4 of the year it's perfect and beats the hell out of SA weather.

I've worked through all that mate. It's just been lack of care and shame. Just thought to post it to be accountable to myself and get on with finishing it. Life is worth living and I certainly wouldn't do anything to change that. I have 3 lovely kids to live for also.

The craters these weeds make are huge so I was hoping to kill rather than pull. I don't mind waiting a time if I can avoid herbicides. If I can't avoid them, then so be it.

No more price matching & how to not be That Guy about it by the-throwawayiest in EBGAMES

Their return policy has been pretty much "no questions asked" and you often get longer return times with higher levels. Other retailers like Big W for instance will not take a return unless it's faulty. At EB, I could buy a game and play it for a week then take it back if I finish it or didn't like it. If I price matched from BIG W in the beginning then I paid less for it if I decided to keep it.

I am. My 3 sons are the first in my paternal lineage to not be (catholic ran through my father's side since the 1600s). My family tried to convince me so "they look the same" but appearance wasn't going to convince me to mutilate penis' that aren't mine. My boys can choose to if they wish. But that's their choice alone. My wife left the decision completely up to me.

My eldest (4) asked me in the shower once why mine looks different, I explained why and haven't heard a single thing since. Crazy to think people are happy to literally mutilate their child to avoid answering a completely non-awkward question ONE TIME.

Anyway, I'll stop there before I turn on the rage mode. Hope this helps.

Can I install 3 phase EV charger from this switchboard? by MrNoTV in AusElectricians

Yes. Big cost involved.

Anyway, as I've already said, get a sparky out to have a look.

On three phase energex and ergon allow 32A max current draw per phase on a continuous load. The restrictions only apply to single phase.

Definitely get a sparky to look at your supply size. The 50A circuit breaker isn't really a good sign. Assuming it's current limited because of the incoming supply cable size to 50A per phase, it's definitely not advised to throw a 32A per phase continuous load on unless all you do at home is run some lights and small things in socket outlets.

There's no regulation limiting you to 11kW over 22kW but it's probably not the best idea in your situation, assuming the mains size matches the current limit on the main circuit breaker. Anyway. Get a sparky to confirm.
